people say that i have a talent with dogs. my sister has a dog who has nipped my mom, brian, her 2 owners, and one of her secondary owners, vicky. she has never bitten me, while i only come over not very often to see midnight, i have played with her roughly, and i hav still never really even been play-bitten. and my mom and brian think she has a mental problem, and i think shes just protective. my mom always tells me not to walk to strange dogs (i know im not supposed to), even a vicious dog, but i still do, and i never get bit. one time i was sitting on my aunts bed after her dog had puppies, and the dog was very protective so i was just sitting there, and the mother wasnt in the room, and when she came in, she laid down to nurse them, and saw that there was someone on the bed. she jumped to me, stopped, and went back down. i dont know if im just lucky or what, but some say i have a talent. do i?

my home owners association has set guidelines on our walls... stucco brick only. we live on a corner lot and people walk by all the time. my dog just wants to see them and she can't but she can hear them so she constantly is jumping on the wall to look over. how can i get her to stop this?! she's scarring the people walking by and not too mention causing a heck of a lot of damage to the stucco on the wall. we've tried everything but can't get her to stop which in turn has caused us to have to block her off of that portion of the yard which sucks for her. want her to have access to the entire backyard. please help!

She has an appointment with the vet, in the morning {Tuesday}, but I was just wondering if anyone has had that problem with their dog, and if you know what it is. She's had it for two days.

i have wanted a yorkshire terrier for a really long time but my parents just don't agree. iwould walk it and feed it and do everything possible to care for it. my parents think it is some sort of paris hilton purse dog phase.

many of my friends have dogs and then my dog could have friends and i live about 3 minutes away from a park so i could walk it through the park and things like that.

i would pay vet bills and anything else the dog needs and nobody in my family is allergic to dogs but they still will not agree

what should i do?

Hayloo!.. Okai I luff dogs so much and I have since I was a baby, I 12 and I would like a dog for my 13th birthday. My nana has a dog and I am always looking after her, but I want my own. My mum and dad know that I am responsable enough and they both love dogs too, but they just keep saying no. One of the reasons is that all of us are out all day, they say it is mean on the dog, but I know loads of poeple who have dogs and are out all day, and we have a big livingroom. Please can anyone give me any tips for me to say to my mum and dad.. I would realy realy REALY like a puppy for my 13th Birthday in September.

I currently feed my dog Purina Dog Chow - Healthy Morsels. Is this a safe and healthy choice for her? I spend about $15-$20 dollars a bag on this and the bag lasts up to a month (she is a small dog). I would be willing to spend more if there is a brand that will keep her healthy for a long time.

Thanks

I just had my dog spayed yesterday, and the veterinary assistant told me I could put a shirt on her to keep her from licking and pulling her stitches. Are there any other ways I can keep her from doing that?

My Chi puppy is 6 months old and has not lost the bottom front baby teeth and the adult teeth are just about all the way in. Will they ever fall out on their own? Does it hurt them to leave it in? Should I have them pulled? If they pull them, do they put them out ? Is this something that's covered by doggie insurance?

The people down the street from me let their Chow run whenever and where ever. Since I moved into my house 2 months ago, he has barred me from my own porch, peed on my truck, and consistently teases my neighbor's sweet Collie. The Collie is fenced so we have no problem with them fighting. However, he does bark at the Chow all the time. I just got an American Pit Bull Terrier, which can be dog aggressive. I don't want anything to happen when I walk my dog and the Chow is loose. I don't know who the dog belongs to because he is always loose and no one looks for him. Am I within my rights to report such behavior, being so new to the neighborhood, or should I just wait and see how our dogs get along?
