I have two chihuahuas they are inside dogs I noticed on one of them the inside top of her ear are alittle red, alittle liquid. It looks like little blister. Could it be bites from the other dog? I cleaned it she didn't fuse or cry so I guessing it doesnt hurt. Any opinons? Thanks

Today I was out and about when i saw at a pet store a puppy sale so my family went in. Their were maany puppies their that i loved but I loved a miniature Dixon. It was a puppy adn very sweet I held it for about 10-15 minutes and it never wanted to get down or to bite me or anything. I played with it in a small room and I was really cute, and sweet. It only barked when a hamster ran by. (in a cage ofcourse) ANYWAY!!! lol........ I am trying to convince my mom to me it it. I need to know these things;

1. Do they get sick often
2. How long does it take to potty-train them
3. Do they fight with other dogs (I have a beagle)
4. Will they chew on things during the day when i am in school
My dad and mom work during the day.

And anything else about them

My puppy likes to go underneath beds and crawl around...She barks and growls and stuff while she's under there. It's kind of weird because if I can't find her, that's usually where she is. I'm not exactly concerned, but should I be? Is this normal behavior for any puppy? She's 3 months old, I might add.

I have a Jack Russell Terrier, just over a year old. I live in an apartment complex where a lot of people own dogs.

When I am walking my dog and he spots another dog, he wildly tries to pull me in that direction. If the dog is close, my dog lets out loud shrill screams and continues to try to pull me. It is almost impossible to control and its embarassing.

Other than that he is very well behaved for a JRT and he is real smart. Just a little wild in certain situations, this being the worst.

So what can I do to control this behavior?

I have a dog that has bitten one person one time because the person made the dog in fear for his life. What I want to know, is if I want to give this dog away, and I explain in full everything the dog has done and everything about the bite incident, is there a way for me to give him away and not be legally responsible if he bites the person I gave him to, or anyone else while under the control of that person? - Geez, I hope that made sense. Thanks!

I have a west highland terrier, approx 8-9 months. A male. He is already toilet trained and all this times goes on well. But suddenly this 3 days he started to pee on my bed, and on my boyfriend's bed which is in another room. The odd thing is, if he has a bladder infection, why the only odd places he peed on except for his dog toilet is my bed and my boyfriend's bed ? He has peed on my bed twice in 3 days and on my bf bed once.
Is he marking his territory ?
My dog, westin, sleeps with me everyday on the bed. Allowed to lay on my bf bed.
what is happening here?

When I first got my dog Zoey she looked like a normal, healthy Black Lab. She had all the orginal looks and we were told she was a purebred Lab.
But then she acctually got Whiskers! Her coat became very thick and somewhat wavey.
I searched the "breed" Labradoodle and she looked just like one of the adult dogs. But she could have not looked differenter when the Labradoodles are puppies.
Any reasons why this happened?

I BOUGHT HIM THURS. HE WAS BORN ON 09/24/06. WHEN I GOT TO THE KENNEL TO PICK OUT A PUPPY HE WAS THE MOST PLAYFULL OF ALL. ON THE WAY HOME HE SLEPT MOST OF THE WAY AND WOKE UP LONG ENOUGH TO THROW UP I GUESSED FROM MOTION SICKNESS. HE DID NOT EAT ANYTHING THAT NIGHT NOR WATER. FRIDAY I LEFT HIM LYING IN HIS BED WHEN I LEFT FOR WORK. 10 HOURS LATER I RETURN TO FIND HIM IN THE SAME SPOT. HE MOVED ENOUGH TO POOP ON THE PUPPY PAD THREE INCHES AWAY AND GOT RIGHT BACK IN BED. HE DID NOT EAT OR DRINK ALL DAY. THAT NIGHT I TOOK SOME CAN FOOD AND PUT A LITTLE ON HIS TONGUE AND HE THEN TOOK ABOUT TWO BITES OF FOOD. NO WATER. NO MILK. NO POOP OR PEE. ALL DAY SATURDAY HE WOULD NOT MOVEUNLESS I PICKED HIM UP AND MOVED HIM. DID NOT EAT OR DRINK ALL DAY. SAT. NIGHT I TOOK HIM TO A VET HE CHECKED OUT FINE NO PROBLEMS. VET SAID GIVE HIM TIME TO ADJUST TO THE NEW HOME. UP UNTIL THIS POINT HE JUST SAT AND SHAKED UNLESS PICKED UP AND HELD. SUN HE ATE FOOD ALL DAY! STILL SAD THOUGH. WILL NOT PLAY.
