I would check teh Chihuahua Club of America's website. They have breeder referral information and can hopefully direct you to someone. http://www.chihuahuaclubofamerica.com/
Please keep in mind that however you research breeder, never buy from someone who ships or places their puppies at 8 weeks of age. Also, make sure you are going to their kennel to see the conditions and meet the parents. It's a wonderful breed, but due to the popularity, there are many unreputable breeders.

i know of one around hudson fla area if you will email me I will give you her name and number . She is a really nice lady and treats her puppy very well . she raises them inside her home and she kinda lives in the country . She treats them like they are a member of the family . first time i went there her boy dog jumped right up on me and gave me a kiss . my puppy has that same personality . she is a good breeder too. they are not papered though but if you are not going to show or breed it does not matter I dont think . good luck and if you are interested then email me . good luck,
