If you are financially able to take care of yourself, you should have been out of your mom's house long ago.
The dog is a financial responsibility too, have you taken it to the vet yet?
Do you have several hundred dollars a year to devote to your dog's health? Could you pay for a medical emergency if it happened tomorrow?
If not, maybe your mom is right and you should find another home for it, or find a home for yourself and the dog.

First go back to elementry school and learn how to read and write. The you should get a job. I would say to got to college but you seem like the drugs got the best of you. Get rid of the dog because your irresponsible and move out. For a 20 year old, you asked a question like a 10 year old. I am only 17 and I could tell you are a complete fool.

If you really want to keep your dog, move out. I'm in the same situation. I went out and bought a 7 1/2 week old pit bull puppy because I really wanted one. She is now 3 months old and I am going to get a job (I quit my job on spur of the moment for reasons I don't want to discuss...expected to have a new one by now), live here until probably March 1 and may move out sooner. After I move out, I'm starting a dog walking business which I know will be successful, and there you have it. So...but don't move out until you can afford it. I have to stay until I get my first 3 or 4 paychecks, or about $1500.

well it depends how old the dog is. If it is older you should defenitly leave it. A move is stressful. Another reaso to leave it is because your going to be working (i think) and living alone with a job is boring for a dog. I suggest you leave him. As hard as it will be. :)

Move out! I had been kicked out of my folks place by 19 lol :-) Being on your own isn't a walk in the park though. Make sure you have a good job and can support yourself and your puppy.

At 20 you are legally an adult but if you so you can and should (if you can easily afford it) move out but if not you should abide by your mother's rules since you are living under her roof.
