Some dogs do have reactions to vaccinations. This is common especially if it was a rabies vacc. Small dogs have a harder time with the vaccinations. He will be lethargic at most. Increased breathing is not a good sign, possibly his throat is swelling and may go into anaphalatic shock. Please take him back to the vet, especially if he has thrown up at all. Some dogs cant handle the live virus type vacc and can only get the killed virus types. Coccidia is a intestinal disease, the medication will not interact with a vaccination, if the dog had an allergy to that medication it most would show itself in digestive problems, upset stomach, and diahorrea.

I would call the vet now. The breathing worries me a lot. Being tired and sleepy are normal reactions to vaccinations, but they dog should not be breathing fast. The treatment for coccidia should not have anything to do with it.

It sounds like a reaction to the vaccine. However, if your puppy was being treated for coccidia, the vet should have waited until he was better before giving any vaccines. It says right on the insert of every single vaccine that it is to be given to healthy animals. If your puppy is undergoing treatment for anything, it should not be given any shots at that time according to the manufacturer of the vaccine. I would report the vet for unethical behavior if I was you.

in case you'll hit upon a so-noted as Teacup length yorkie it probably fee about $one thousand or more suitable. There probably are some, yet they're in all probability to have severe well being themes. somebody else retains insisting that they arrive in a unmarried length purely. enable me splendid that idea. we've had 2 that were 6 lbs each and each and they both were very healthful except one (our first had a difficulty with one of his knees popping out of joint. fortuitously, my husband become continually waiting to administration it lower back in position,) both a kind of yorkies lived to the age of 14. Our modern yorkie weighs 12 lbs. So there are massive yorkies and there are tiny yorkies. i do not imagine any lower than 5 lbs will be a good idea. the only 6 lb yorkie fee us $350, yet that become over 2 a lengthy time period in the past. the different 6 pounder turned right into a freebie because he turned right into a stray that no human being appeared for. Our modern 12 lb yorkie fee us $three hundred from a rescue homestead and he become about a million 12 months previous when we followed him.

It could be a combination of both. The shot should not have been given while the puppy has and is being treated for coccidia. It puts too much stress on their body. Call the vet.

It is probably a little of both.I would probally take him to the vet tomorrow if he continues to be lethargic and just lays around. Also I would let the person you got the pup from know that your pup has coccidia so she can treat the other pups. And also just in case your pup has a rough time the previous owner needs to know.Good Luck!!!!!!

it sounds like he is could be having a vaccine reaction. Call your vet--if he is not on call at this hour, call an emergency veterinary clinic. (coccidia treatment usually doesn't cause problems)

Call an emergency vet center. Most will advise you by phone if your pup needs to be seen or not.

Could be both. Did your vet administer the vax? I would take her back to the vet and tell her the symptoms.
