I live in NYC and I'm looking for a good pomeranian breeder with decent prices, websites would be good too.

I have nothing against rescue groups, but when it comes to toy dogs, you dont get what you want, I want a pure breed and a pom that is a few weeks old. I went to a pet store the ones that I did go to did not have any, only yorkies and some other toy dogs.

I own 2 poms and I bought mine from people who just bred the 2 poms they had, if they breed more kinds of other dogs like poodles and yorkies, stay away from them, I think they are trash breeders. When u visit a pom website , sometimes you will see they have the older ones for sale, I think it is wrong to do that cause that dog has been their bread and butter and how dare they toss that dog like it did nothing for them. Find a breeder that dont breed any other dogs except the one your looking for. I do not breed mine, I had my female spayed. look in local newspapers and allways ask questions when u call, good luck

I would start with the Pomeranian Club of America. They have a breeder referral contact and you can also look at their rescue group if you would prefer to adopt a rescue.

Check out www.breeders.net... they seem to be the best website I've found for finding dogs in any specific area.
