I had an all white pit bull. He was the only deaf pup out of the whole litter and the runt. He was fine didn't act sick nothing. Then about two days before he died he started acting really weird, like he would pee on himself and just lay there. He pink thing also came out and would not go back in all the way. I set up an appointment for a vet for three days away. But two days later i woke up and he was laying with me in bed with his head on my shoulder not moving. He was two years old and weighed about a hundred pounds. I moved him and he opened his eyes and closed them and never got up again. He was eating fine, didn't have diareaa, was a good weight everything. Then in one day he got thin and just died.

on craiglist on the rant a rave section i posted this

I have a very small rescue. I get all the crazies, People dont understand that even if a litter is placed there is about a 99.9% most of them will still end up in a shelter.... and will DIE because you didnt take the time to spay the mama..... Owning a dog is a resposiblity, if you cant handle taking proper care of your dog do not have one.............. Do know the pecentage of black dogs in rescuse? there are so many that when I worked for the humane society we could never take them in..... when you dont get your dog fixed you are part of the problem you are a back yard breeder
take the time to love your dog and fix it
I then put a couple of pictures and said here society here is what you have done all these dogs are dead

I was trying to get people to understand that this problem has a face cute little puppy faces....

I have a 4 year old,12 pound,Maltese/poodle mix breed that I've had since he was 10 weeks old.He is a very affectionate lap dog & loves to be cuddled.About a year ago he started growing at me & my husband for no reason apparent to us.We then forbid him to sleep on our bed, & that helped a bit.But now he has biten each of us once before (well me twice). If we go to pet him when he's laying down, he starts off growling,& he gets louder & shows his teeth, & when we actually go to put our hands on him, he strikes. The other day he was on his bed & I went to lay my head by him & he attacked my skull out of nowhere. He gets very teritorial, but he's also very sweet. We have yelled NO, pinned him down, made him sit before doing anything or going anywhere,he walks either beside us or behind us on walks, but nothing makes him stop growling.I thought I have been doing everything right.Does anyone have any training tips on how to deal with this behaivior? feel free to contact me if you need more..

He does well with his stool, using a doggie box, but prefers to lift his leg and urinate an a bathroom door, a wood door jam and the wood bath sink cabinet. I've tried all I know, Apple bitter, pet odor control products, scolding to no avail. He's also marked a plush chair and the skirt of a couch- Ready to tie a string in it! HELP

Today I had to castrize my 6 year old boxer due to vet diagnosigning my dog (probably) with well differentiated carcinoma..I have spent over $2000.00 in medical bills not counting the $282.00 I spent today. I called my vet this P.M. to check on my boy and the answer was that he was in a dog run by himself. Do you guys actually have feelings for these animals that we feel are our kids or is tt the money! I know I am venting right now but I can not see paying you to go home while my boy lays on a COLD concrete floor because you said"HE WILL BE BETTER HERE,BECAUSE HE DOES NOT NEED TO BE EXCERCISING OR JUMPING, DUE TO THE FACT THE INCISION MAY BREAK. Do you not think that an animal would feel more prtecteced and loved if they were home with they're loved ones, instead of being alone on a dog run with no one?

My puppy, a mixed breed terrier, wets the floor when excited. When she's frightened by another dog, it's a big puddle, and when she's just happy to see someone, she leaks all over their shoes. Is there anyway I can stop this?

We took him to get his vaccinations and get de-wormed two days ago around 2 pm, later than night he has a long worm hanging out of his butt then his next 2 stools had worms in them. So far he hasnt passed any more. They were pretty long and round (What my mother said)
Im concerned, is it just that the medicine worked, or should we take him to the vet?

parvo, etc, and a dose of frontline for fleas. She is normally very healthy and spunky but about an hour ago she started looking weak and she yelps when I try to pick her up. I don't know if it is her joints or abdominal tenderness but she is very sore. Is this a typical reaction?

I'm twelve years old. I live in a city were there are quite a bit of dogs. My friend was thinking of walking dogs for extra cash, and she asked me to walk the dogs with her. We were going to split the money 50/50, but now I'm not really sure. What if the dog gets away or gets hurt? What should I charge? Would people trust their dogs with two twelve year olds? How much should we charge?

I have breed my AKC champion Toy Poodle to another AKC champ. Toy Poodle male. This is my first time ever doing this and she is due on January 30, 2007. What are some signs that I can look for that it is time? I am new at this and I want to be able to help her and stay with her the whole time she is in labor. I have looked up web sites but didn't find anything that would help me. Is there anything I can do to bring on her labor or is that not safe? She is my pet so after this one litter she is getting spayed. I plan on keeping one puppy and I can't wait until they get here. Please help!

Hi I have a doberman pincher and he lives outside my back yard. What is really frustrating is that its extremely cold outside and during the nights I can hear him cry. I have always thrown out blankets and have a bed for him in this dog house outside. The bad part is he tears them up into little pieces. I need advise on how to stop him from doing this, it makes me sad to know he is freezing out there. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
