No, most of what people sell as a miniature bulldog are an English Bulldog crossed with either a Pug or a French Bulldog. If they are registered with a legitimate registry, then they come from runt to runt breeding (often with inbreeding). This is horrible for any breed, but defiantly for a Bulldog that already is known for having lots of health problems. If you want a smaller Bulldog, get a French Bulldog. They have the personality of the larger ones, but they are smaller and do not drool. I have 3 Frenchies and they are great little dogs.

i actually talked to a mini bulldog breeder because i was wondering the same thing and he said that it was a mix between a pug and an English bulldog. The upside is that most of the health problems aren't as common in "mini" bulldogs. Now I would pay 1500 for an english bulldog but not a mini..reason being, when you come down to it..its just a really cute well thought out mixed breed.

No there is not, and if you find a very small bulldog it is likely to have a lot of health problems. The smallest E. Bulldog I have seen was about 20lbs, and he could barely walk. His owner had to carry him almost everywhere and he could only stand long enough to go potty and eat. The owner said he also had alot of other health problems. I would not buy one. If you want a small Bulldog get a french bulldog.

No.
There are miniature Bull Terriers, but not Bulldogs. If someone is advertising mini Bulldogs they are probably mixes or undersized bulldogs, and undersized dogs are usualy the result of irresponsible breeding and have a myriad of health problems.

No. There are Bulldogs that are bred to be smaller, but they aren't purebred (and not healthy). There is the French Bulldog, which is smaller than a Bulldog, and it is purebred.

No. It could be a runt, or mixed with a smaller breed to get the smaller dogs. Not a real breed. People are trying to scam you into paying big bucks for a 'special breed" that doesn't exist.
