when dog is outside how do you stop him woundering off

Me and my girlfriend are looking after her parents puppy for a couple of weeks.

He is about 1 and a half years old and although he is intelligent he is very disobedient. Today he ran off in the park and we had to sprint after him.

I know the best thing to do is train dogs early on but his owners are very easy going with him and don't punish properly.

How can I train him to come back to me when called and do as he is told?

Just go to their websites - like Purina & you can sign up for a free sample to do a taste test with your dogs (and cats too - of course.)

we intend to create a company and our product would be dog shoes => THE DOG WON'T GET DIRT OR MUD ON HIS FEET/PAWS..... they are a kind of thicker socks, coming in different sizes, colors and designs and also summer and winter. they could be rewashable or single use. would you buy?

She is 11 months old, and supposedly full breed, but no papers. She is healthy, weighs about 55 pounds, and a beautiful dog, except her head appears too small for her body. Is this normal?

she survived. When she came home from the vet she wasnt in good shape. swollen face from a broken nose & lacerations to her hind leg & her neck. they could not suture up her wounds because there was still dirt & said to just let the wounds drain out & heal on their own time. $700 later & a week she now has a huge gaping hole in her throat and you can her breathe! the Vet informs me that there was bruised tissue on the cartilage rings around her trachea & now there is a perforation. If i don't get her seen by a specialist ( up $265 just for a consult) & schedule her for surgery something could infect the perforation & she could get pneumonia or just drop dead. I can not afford to pay for a surgery. & I refuse to put her to sleep! I need help! Advice, anything! Could her trachea heal on its own without surgery? is there anything i could do that won't cost thousands of $? Does anyone know of an organization that can help me or even help her? PLEASE!

Fix as in his aggressiveness towards strangers and cars. When a stranger comes, he goes nuts and charges at them, barking and snapping. Visitors are seriously scared to even exit their cars even though he's only 10 pounds. He really reminds me of a pitbull when he's like that. He is "fixed" in terms of his manhood.

He's normally sweet and playful but he has bit me when I reach for his food or try to break up a fight between him and his sister from another litter.

Please help! We have had our new dog for several weeks now. He does come inside sometimes, but when we are not home he stays outside and has a dog house.

But he is chewing our plants and chewed up a wooden bench. How do we get him to stop chewing??? He already has bones and chew toys!
