You need to get the terms correct. Female dog is when your dog is spayed. A ***** is when the female is intact.

Sorry I disagree with the other answer. A female dog is correctly called a ***** her entire life whether she is neutered or not. This term is not derogatory when used in referring to a female dog. Humans have just misused it too much.

A female dog is referred to as a B***H regardless of whether it's altered or not.

When it's pregnant and/or a mother it can alternately be referred to as a "dam".

the word "dog" means male canine
and the word "*****" means female canine
