Worms do not usually cause rectal bleeding. There are a variety of things that do. He could have an anal gland abscess, or perianal adenoma, or he could have had diarrhea that you were not aware of.
I find it very surprising your vet can not see him til Saturday. I would find another vet because they are not addressing your concern, and his symptoms while not an absolute emergency do need prompt diagnosis.
I was a Vet Tech and in our practice would not make a valued client and patient wait. We would always get them in, even if just to put their mind at ease.

Get him to a DIFFERENT VET. Saturday is too freaking long to wait.
Did you tell the vet's receptionist what was happening with your dog?
What kind of vet thinks that its ok to put this off til Saturday?!?! I bet if your vet was pooping blood today, s/he wouldn't wait around til Saturday!
I just read your new comments, that you don't have the money. Can you explain to your vet that you will pay in full on Friday? Surely they would work out a payment plan. Call them back, explain the situation, that your dog is bleeding, you have no money now but you will have money Friday, can they get him in today or tomorrow.
Surely a vet who knows your story isn't going to let this poor dog suffer. Then you make sure to pay them on Friday as soon as you get paid. Don't mess them around after they help you out.
This could be a few different things, it all depends on the accompanying symptoms, but only a vet who actually sees your dog in person will be able to tell you for sure.
I also have a house dog, who is my 'lil' girl', who was suffering like this 6 weeks ago. She had pretty bad diarrhea that came on quickly, and then lots of blood in her stool, I mean lots. I freaked out, too, and we were driving across the country at the time (you can imagine the mess, but we were more concerned about her...plus we had covered the car seats with sheets & blankets before we left on our trip).
We drove nonstop all day and night (18hrs) to get her home. First thing in the morning (7 or so) I groggily called the vet and they got us in at 830 that morning. It turned out, she had some severe gastrointestinal upset (obviously) that had irritated her insides so much that she was pooping blood. And it was blood, because by that time, there was nothing else left in her stomach.
The vet gave me an antidiarrheal made specifically for animals (1mg of immodium-half a tab, actually probably a whole tablet for a lab-is OK too, but for some vague reason the vet wanted me to buy theirs, so I did.. just make her better!) and had me put her on a very bland diet for at least two weeks.
The vet said I could purchase their premade bland diet, or I could make it myself...just white rice with some boiled boneless, skinless chicken breast. Its very important that the chicken have the skin removed because the dog can't have any oil/fat during their bland diet. No salt or pepper or spices, either. The bland diet is just to sooth the stomach and allow the lining of the stomach and intestine to heal again...at least that's what I gathered from what she said, but as you said 'we're not vets here'!
Anyway, six weeks later, my girl is just fine, as if it never happened. Boy, I know how scary it is to see that, though. You'll think your dog will never be the same.
It cost us $120 that day, just fyi. Like $55 for an office visit, $7 for those special antidiarrheal pills, $10 because they emptied her glands back there, and they did a few other things to make sure that was the cause of the problem which was $10 here, $10 there. I don't really remember, I was so exhausted from driving all night. Didn't matter really just glad she was OK, and it was an emergency. I just threw that in because I always wish I had a ballpark idea of how much a visit for this or that problem will cost.
Of course, your experience may vary depending on the problem. I think that this usually looks a lot worse than it is, but you HAVE to get your dog to the vet today or tomorrow. Even if you have to drive a half hour to a different one. At least you'll know what the deal is and your little guy can get on the road to recovery.

I would find another vet that cares. Blood where it doesn't belong should be taken seriousely.
There should be another vet or an ER that can see you and your dog before Sat. Look in your phone book.

I agree with the other people who have suggested you find another vet. If you asked this question on Tuesday, do not wait until Sat, It could be nothing, but it also could be serious, and this is your baby and and if you love him as much as your question suggests you do, don't wait.

go to the store and get some wormer they are worms and his butt is probably irritated. that is the best bet when you don't have a vet. it doesn't matter if the do is an inside dog or not it can get worms from anything and most dogs already have them and need to be treated form them often.. take care and have a nice day
