I have found a stray dog, all the animal places are closed, what can I do?

I live in Northern Ireland.

Here in NJ if worse comes to worse, you can call the local police station and the can find a place to keep it until the shelters open. You can also try calling vets, some of them keep strays, that's how I got Gutterball. But since you found it in your heart to take this poor lost baby in in the first place, maybe you could just keep it till tomorrow when the shelters open.

If the dog has tags call the place that issued the tags tomorrow. For tonight find him something to eat and give him water to drink and give him an old blanket to call his for the night. If you don't have any luck in the neighborhood in finding the owner contact your local shelter and take the dog there if you do not wish to keep him there and continue searching for the owner.

tell the police the dog might be micro chipped can you keep the dog until the morning .if not ask the police they will take him maybe .good what you done take the dog off the street

if i were you i would put up signs that say : i have a stray dog that looks like this[put up a picture]and say were you live.

can you keep it till they open? or try to go to your local police department and give it to them!! other wise let them go again!! good luck with that one.
