my dog had diahorrea a lot as a pup and it turned out he had an allergy to a few dog foods. My vet put him on Id dry food for awhile and that sorted him out, then I put him onto Burns and he has been fine ever since. It is always worth checking this with your vet first as he may have worms or eaten something that disagreed with him like stones, leaves etc, etc. So my first thing if he was mine would be to phone your vet and ask his opinion. Good luck.

Give him only water for 24 hrs then after woulds give him chicken meet & rice. If diarrohea presists then get him 2 a vet. How long HAS he had the diarrohea? If longer then 2 day get him to the vet asap!! Try 2 get him 2 drink water as much as possible!! Dehydrsation can kill them!! DON'T GIVE HIM ANY HUMAN MEDIACTIONS WITH OUT THE OK FROM UR VET!! Hope this helps. Good Luck!!

My other dog (who died in may she was 16) had this once & I asked my brother & he told me the chicken & rice since it is a bland diet. But the diarrohea didn't stop so I took her 2 the vet plus she was dehydrated. This happened abt 8 months b4 she died. She had a stomach virus plus she was put on an IV 4 the dehydration!! They gave her medicine & chichen & rice can food 2 help her! After 2 or 3 days she got better! Found out from the vet on a follow up that she has a virus & dog flu!! Both can be fatal since they get so dehydrated!!

Her dealth had nothing 2 do w/ her being sick. She had liver & spleen cancer & she hind legs were paralysized!! She also started having seizures!! We had 2 put her down becuase she was old & if she had anymore they were going 2 get worse & the seizures would cause a stroke in 24-48 hours. She wouldn't b happy but she would continue 2 have seizures till she died!! Our only choice was 2 let her go peacefully!!

I hope this helps! Good Luck!!

No food for 24 hours and then give him rice and pure pumpkin. If it persists then I would seek a vet ASAP.

Puppies have sensitive stomachs so just stick to DOG treats and keep the same kibble each time because when you change the diet the dog gets a watery stool

If he hasnt had shots take him to the vet ASAP. Actually you should probably do it anyway. The longer you wait for these things the harder it is to treat and the more expensive it gets. Trust me. It could be worms or food change but I would take him in just to make sure it isnt something worse like parvo. Did he get into any trash or anything that might cause his stomach to be upset? I hope it isnt anything serious but puppies get dehydrated very quickly so the sooner you take him in the better. Good luck

How is your puppy acting? Is he listless, not eating or vomiting? If he just has diarrhea and no other symptoms you can feed him a bland diet of cooked rice and room temp plain yogurt in small amounts until he has normal stools and slowly introduce his regular food.
Your puppy needs to the Vet NOW if he has more than just diarrhea or develops new symptoms.
He is at his most vulnerable time in his life for contagious diseases like Parvo and Distemper. So do get him well puppy veterinary care, a general exam, vaccinations and checked for worms.

i really would call the vet and explain the problem they can tell you over the phone as all the nurses and receptiionists ( which round here are the vet nurses) have training, if there is anything you should do to help your pup or if it is a trip to the vet that is needed
He sounds like he may have bad worms or something I would ring them in the morning as soon as they open to talk to them about it
Hope hes ok, Good luck

Get it under control with "Kaopectate", if the problem continues it is time for a vet to have a look at the dog.
You will also want to pull up slightly on a pinch of hide at the base of the puppy's neck. If when you let go of the pinch of hide it remains up instead of immediately returning to it's normal position, this is a sign of de-hydration and you will want to immediately get to a vet.

Take him to a vet. Also no food until the diarrhea stops. Puppies can get diarrhea if you switch brands of dog food. If you have to change to a different kind of food, do it gradually so his little tummy has time to adjust.

Get him to the vet immediately! It could be something serious like parvo, or something easily treatable like worms - but whatever the cause, dehydration from severe diarrhea can kill a puppy.

Give pepto bismal or kopectate child's dose. feed brown rice with a little chicken broth for flavor. That will fix the diarrhea.

Really needs to see a vet.
