Not sure if anyone has had experience with either breed, positive or negative. Some dogs do not affect me at all, with others - I cannot breathe after an hour or so around them. Trying to figure out if this would be a good dog for me. Any thoughts?

After years of working with other rescue groups, I am now out on my own, rescuing and fostering dogs that have been abused and/or neglected or are special needs. I am filing paperwork to become a non-profit corporation, but need to know if there are any other requirements in our state. I was told I have to be a "releasing" agency, but can find no information at the state or town levels as to what this means. Can anyone here help?

I have a 3 and half month old puppy and i was wondering if there is anyway i can help her gain weight. I feed her 2 times a day , once in the morning and once at 6 pm with pedigree puppy. I give her treats once a day , everyday. But she is still kinda skinny you can almost see her ribs... does anyone have any advice on how to fatten her up a little bit? Its really appriciated thanks

Our pom. has been peeing on the floor in one room of our house. She is fine if we are home, but when we leave or go to sleep at night, she goes on the floor. Is there anything we can do to stop this from continuing. We have tried everything we can think of but if u have any suggestions we are open to anything!!!

My 8 month old pitbull will start chasing my other dog and then when you yell at him he will start running really fast and he will sometimes run into you and knock you down how do I make him stop running crazzily and chasing my other dog??

I have 9 dogs 5 of them boxers ranging from 8 months to 31/2 years old 3 females 2 males all spayed and neutered. They have recently become aggressive with each other. They seem to pick on one certain female, her ear has developed a hematoma that has been operated on twice and I am having a hard time healing. I have seperated the dogs but they can break out of any kennel or pen. Any suggestions???

I just got a Havanese puppy and not too many people that I've asked have even heard of them. So, he is dark brown/black on top and cream colored underneath, I was wondering if I take him to the groomer and they cut his hair will the brown/black grow back or will he then be cream colored forever?

I am just wondering if this is normal, she's always got mass amounts of hair coming out, doesn't matter how much I brush her, and i bath her every three weeks with Vanilla oatmeal shampoo (some chick at pet smart said was good)
she's a great dane/Mstiff Mix so she's a big baby. but sheds year round, when i thought it was in cycles.

I have 3 Pitbulls (and a German Shepherd dog) and I would like to know why so many people *hate* (not putting this lightly) the breed. I know people say, "Oh, but they were only bred to fight" and "But they kill so many people", but really, any dog can. Nobody even really learns the breed's history before they go telling people that they are vicious, blood thirsty killers. I made a forum and website about them and I wouldn't want it to see it go to waste. my boyfriend and i bought a tibetan spaniel about three month ago but she wasn’t registered at the kennel club, today we were at a dog show and met the president of a tibeten spaniel club and he ask were we got her and they think that place is a puppy farm so we called today to get the kennel club names of the mother and father and they refused to give us them because we bought her un-registered, they said they have the right to do that?
