if you vet says she has no worm it should be ok. she just might be iln her lanky stage of growth. 2 twice a day is enough three times a day would be better just make sure that she is getting enough food. But please do not leave the food down for more than about 5 to 10 mins., by the time she is 6 mo she can be feed twice a day .

Two times a day for a 3 month old puppy, is not nearly enough food. Puppies that age should be fed four times a day until they turn 6 months old, then you go to three times a day until they turn a year old, then after 1 year, you can start feeding him two times a day. My vet, is the one who told me to do this, with my three 4 month old Chihuahuas, and their doing just fine. He also told me to feed them some, Royal Canin Puppy Food, that you can buy in your local pet store. The very first time I tried it on my chihuahuas, they went crazy for it, they absolutely love it. My advice is that you give it a try, and feed her four times a day, and I can almost guarantee you, that she'll put on weight and feel alot better, too.

the BARF diet is really good. it stands for:
Biologically
Appropriate
Raw
Food
if your puppy isn't gaining weight, talk to the vet. s/he may have some advice. also, feed the pup more often. three times a day, then switch to twice a day later on. puppies need more food for growing. TRUST ME, i juggled my dog's weight a lot, and the trainer said that we just needed to feed the puppy 3 TIMES A DAY!!! you don't have to switch food. just start feeding her 3 times a day and you will see an improvement!

p.s.-after the dog is about 6 mths start feeding her 2ce a day.

She is old enough to start eating RAW bones (never cooked). Chicken wings, chicken necks, lamb flanks are great for pups.
These have lots of meat on them and help but one weight. start with a small amount say a chicken neck and see how your pup goes some get a bit of an upset stomach if so don't give again for several weeks.
The ideal body size for dogs is a tucked in abdomen and to be able to feel the ribs but not see them.

switch to a premium dog food,,, you didn't say what breed of pup you had ,, some are leaner than other... also feed her three times a day if you can... and when you are training her,, you certainly can give her more treats than only once a day - pups caloric intake needs to be upped as the dog is growing,,, FEED HER MORE

OH PLEASE take her to the vet. She may have an intestinal parasite or worms that is robbing her of valuable nutrition. The cost should be minimal to find out if she does have some type of worm or parasite. It's usually done with a fecal sample.

we had the same problem and our vet said she may not be eating enough even tho you feed her twice. how long do u leave the food down for. we were told to leave her food down and give her all she could eat for 15 minutes and then pick it up. once we did this she started to eat like a pig. i hope this helped u like it helped us!
