As a breeder I have seen males bred this early however it isn't common. They usually mature at 6-7 months old, so keeping him away from your female during her heat is a must!
I would definitly get a belly band for your male or a diaper for your female and keep the two apart until her heat passes. Your female will be at her prime for breeding around 8-15 days after bleeding started, so make sure you keep her as far away from your and any other mature males during that time.

Breeds vary. The breed I keep matures very young, and is fertile at 6 months. You keep them in totally seperate rooms for the whole 3 weeks if you are a responsible person.

.I have always been told that once a male dog reaches its 6 month mark and you have a female in heat lets say in the same house ....that you must pay close attention unless you don't care whether or not she gets pregnant

The sooner the better. Fertility in dogs and cats starts very young. He is not too young, actually he is prime for it. It is not healthy to let them try at that age, but he doesn't know that and as soon as she comes into season, he will try to mount her.

no.a 6mo old dog cannot make a 2yr old dog pregnant.i suggest you look up some kind of stud dog.remember,if you want a pure-breed puppies, make sure they are from the same breed.also,if
you want to find a stud dog,ask the owner if the dog's family line
has any past diseases or if the dog has had any past diseases
,for it may be pasted on to the puppies.also make sure you have
enough money for the stud fee.as you said, you don't want
puppies,so sell them for a small profit,or large.

No he isn't too young. I also recommend getting him neutered. He is old enough.
