I scissor cut my own little poodles. They are in a puppy cut and would like to use something other than scissors to speed it up (it takes me 1 - 1 1/2 hours) and I'd like their coats to be a more even cut. Can anyone tell me what works? Does a Flow Bee work? Thanks!

My dog's breath is REALLY bad... Like... Whenever she yawns around me, I can smell it and I don't know what to do... Do I give her a drop of my toothpaste or something? >.>;;

I've just adopted this little puppy. It's a mixed breed of fox terrier and he's about 1 and a half months old. He gets scared or lonely at night and he starts crying and howling until someone goes and plays with him.
I dont want to spoil it, and i dont want to bother my neighbours with his howling, so: How can i keep him from crying at night?

Things i've already tryed:
*Giving him a teddy bear.
*Giving him a shoe (He likes to sleep on my feet).
*Giving him an old t-shirt.
*Letting him cry (He didnt stop in about fifteen minutes and i started worrying about my neighbours... It was like 2am)
*Keeping the lights on. (He didnt even care. It seems that he's not afraid of the dark).

Other info:
*He has a pet house made of a cardboard box, in a warm (but not suffocating) part of the house.
*He has a bowl of milk and one of water near him (he eats by himself).
*I wont, by any means, let him sleep on my bed.

I had a tootsie roll bank full of candy on my counter. Last night my cats knocked it off and my puppy took it and chewed on it. I cleaned up all the tootsie rolls but there was one wrapper empty. I know that chocolate is harmful to dogs. Should I be concerned?

i want a small dog, which doesnt shed! with med/short hair, no doggy smell if poss!, good sound health! not a consent yapper! very intelligent! possibly a soild black hair breed!good natured!!! independant! mainly a tiny,or toy breed, as carrying my dog around will some what be trouble sum on my back!!! :-)

I have purchased an Anti barking collar for my dog..i've read all the instructions and am a bit confused as; even though it's set on the Lowest setting, it Beeps at anything.. Does this mean it's faulty, Has anyone else used one and experienced the same?...
If when it beeps it's triggering the Ultra sonic sound how is the dog going to know the difference when it DOES bark...I'm wondering now if it's a bit cruel and pointless.....

Anyone know anything about a dog food called Authority. It can be purchased at Petsmart and they bill it as being equal to Eukanuba. Know anything about it? It is a good brand for a large breed dog? I want to find a dog food with as much protein and as little filler as possible.

I have a very healthly beautiful 2 year old Italian Mastiff. He was fine last night when we went to sleep. He sleeps on the floor next to my side of the bed. When He got up this morning he couldn't walk. He is favoring his front right leg or paw. The poor thing wants to do his usual following me but he only made it to the living room and plopped in his bed out their. I can't even get him to come to me so I can take him ouside. And I am not about to attempt to carry him out to use the bathroom. it's 6:30am so I have a little while till my vet is open. Hust seeing what people have to say about it. Maybe something will ease my mind

I have a little shih tzu at the moment and was looking on extending my doggy family and I settled on a bulldog. I have always thought highly of them and thought they were gorgeous and so friendly and loyal. Now I am reading that they are dangerous and should be kept away from children etc. So I am reconsidering.

Has anyone had any personal experiences with this or is it just a couple of random attacks? I have never heard of a bulldog being vicious before!

Do they have a history of it that I totally missed out on?

i am looking to breed from my staffie,but i am looking for help in the stud dog to pick. i am hoping to get some blue coloured pups in my litter,as the mother of my ***** was an irish blue staff allthough my ***** is pied,is there a chance of getting blue pups from my ***** no m,atter what colour dog i opt for or will ablue dog give me better chance?
