I scissor cut my own little poodles. They are in a puppy cut and would like to use something other than scissors to speed it up (it takes me 1 - 1 1/2 hours) and I'd like their coats to be a more even cut. Can anyone tell me what works? Does a Flow Bee work? Thanks!

Oster clippers would be your best bet - they're good quality clippers which last and do a good job.

If you want your Poodle to have a Poodle cut, they have to be scissored. It is a bit of an art, keep practising!

You can buzz them down with a clipper, but they are so much nicer scissored! Maybe try a continental clip, so that you can at least buzz parts of them.

Of course it takes you a lot of time. Dog's nails are very hard!!! Use the special nailclipper!! And don't cut too deep; believe me, it will bleed for several hours. I've tried once. Any usual scissor won't work. The special one is thick and unlike any usual scissor. There are lots in petshops.
