Why not call her Mercedes? Strong name and it has some attitude! What a good choice of dog!! They are wonderful and great around kids. As the breed was called the child's nanny, many many years ago!!

What do you want to call her? I named my female dog Bruno, and she is so tomboyish until now, 5 and half years old, everyone thought she is a male. What you'll love to name her is what she'll love, and the meaning of the name won't be any problem to your dog. She just listen to your voice. Just give the first name you can think of. Bruno is the first name that appeared to my sister and me.

Staffies are great. I like the name Tilly.
I think it's best when you stick with cuter names for the bully breeds so that people will recognize them for the marshmallows they really are. I think that giving them tough names only reinforces the bad stereotypes about the breed.
