Certain dogs have a universal blood type that they like using as a donor. I have a few that are used as donor's myself. They have all been tested and typed for this. Most clinic's only want dogs that are universal to be used as a donor.

A dog can take a blood transfusion from any dog; but only once. For the second transfusion they must have blood from a different dog, but again any one can be the donor.
