It means to Speacilize in wild dogs. Which should live free like Bears, lions, and other dangerous animals which people let live in their natural surrondings, but not wolves. Why must people be so seletive?

He's a year old, a pomeranian cross corgi (very cute, very hyper). I usually walk him for about an hour a day, with a bit of jogging mixed in. I take him for a shorter, slower walk in the evening. Is this enough or too much?

Is it true that when dogs are about to die, they go somewhere to be a lone and dig a hole?
If this is true it would really reassure me.

I am trying to figure out what this dogs name is. He is this little dog, w/ white fur, looks just like a teddy bear. And each month he is in a different costume. Or maybe what is the name of the author that makes the calendar? Thanks..

if you love dobes, like i do, own a dobe like me. tell me why and what you love about them. what kind they are and everything!

i'll start out first.

I resuced my Doberman from an animal shelter here where i live, and when i got him he was 11 months old, and he was days away from being euthanized bc people thought he was too big, and he would be a bad dog. but he is the best protctive dobe i have ever had!! he sitting right now by my feet in front of the fire place. He is black and tan, weighs 110 pounds, and 2 and a half feet tall.

lol sorry im bored, but i do want to more about other peoples dobes! the are awsome bc they proven to be the most protective, obedeint, intelligent, and most althetic dog ever!. and if ppl have a problem, leave a stupid answer. i dont care, my dog can still kick your *** ;] lol

I have had Astar for 9 months now. She is approximately under 2 years old and a mix of rotweiler and blue tick. I don't know much about her previous home except that her owners were going to shoot her. Overall she is an excellant dog! (ex. she loves playing fetch/ tug of war, sits, laysdown) The only problem is that when my kids are at school she acts scared of me and sometimes will urinate a little if I approach her. Also she does this when I raise my voice. Besides myself there are three other people in the house but I'm the only one she acts this way towards. I can't understand why or figure out what i can do to help her overcome being scared of me, considering I have never hurt or layed a hand on her. Any advise would be greatly appriciated! Thanks!

Our entire backyard porch is covered and she is sleeping under the porch on a large rug. She is not shivering or anything. I just don't know whether to bring her inside or put her in the garage. It is also sprinkling, but she is just sleeping on the rug.

I adopted a puppy the other day and he seems to be shaking all the time. When I set him on the ground outside he skaes, when he is wet, when he is alone, or when I first pick him up. I am wondering what it could be from and how to make himmore comfortable. He is a rat terrier, jack, sheltie mix. He has taken to a blanket so him sleeping is a little better. Thanks

Why do people feel that it is the dogs fault for him being a "vicious" dog.....I raised pits and NEVER had one attack me, maul me or bite me......these dogs are like children....if you raise them to be mean and vicious....guess what your gonna get that.....dogs, like kids are products of the upbringing they were TAUGHT. Yes people should be held responsible for the actions of ANY dog that they possess not just bulldogs (pits).... want to see my babie go to www.webshots.com/sparkydabomb and look in my dogs album.....Dogs need to be treated with love, understanding...not beat on kicked on, chained up and taught to hurt people unless they are hurting the owner.....dogs are our friends and would you treat your friend the way some treat pits and expect them not to turn on you or others? Come on people get a grip......pits aren't the problem...it's the owners, and HUMANS fault not the dog....he's acting on training and instict....
