Do you mean the bacon strips we eat for breakfast?
Dogs and other animals for that matter enjoy some strange human foods. For example, my cat likes cheese. Our poodles like carrots. Maybe your dog has an addiction to bacon.

My daughter has a red nosed Pitt bull.Wonderful breed and gentle with the children I might add. I don't know what it is about bacon but every dog I've known loved it. My cats did too but for some reason cats aren't supposed to have pork.

you mean the beggin' strips? Like on the comercial where they always say " Dogs don't know it's not bacon" ? If that's what you're talking about...have you smelled those things?! They smell good enough to be people food!
I've never seen a dog that doesn't go crazy for those :)

dogs love meat! especially when it smells nice, i have shih tzu puppies here and they often put their heads (and paws) inside their mother's dog dish i mean,, theyre only a month old and cant even chew.
