Whenever My Dog gets loose from his collar, He runs to a certain spot in my backyard where my Neighbors Cats poop. He eats it like nothing else. My Aunts Dog also does it..Why?

Every time a dog barks at her, she lays down and refuses to get up and walk, I have to drag her. When she sees something big and strange, like a sign or something she doesn't wanna walk by it. Everytime we see a dog, she lays down with her tail between her legs. Will se grow out of this? What can I do to tuffen her up? I give her alot of love, could that be the reason?

Okay, I just bought a 2 year old Shih Tzu, and he is potty trained, but once in a while, he pee's in the house. He knows he shouldn't to it, he gets all guilty looking after. He isn't nuetered, and some people say this will help, he is set up to have this done on Friday. If this doesn't work, I will have to get rid of him. I have a 1 1/2 year old baby inside, and I don't want to freeze him outside. Please feel free with any information.

This is going to be the first dog I get on my own. Is this a good Idea. I will be living in an apartment and just want to make sure that this is a dog that is good for that type of environment. They have betogether for 3 weeks and my mastiff is agressing so much when my shi tzu puts anything in her mouth. My shi tzu was the first to agress when the mastiff was new and was nipping at her. they are both female. unspade. I love them both and dont want my mastiff to be exziled outside. what can I do to get them to get along of evern become friends?

I have a 70 pound german shepherd "puppy" who is adorable; until he gets excited. Then he starts jumping up on everyone and biting. My mom is always hitting him when he bites which I think just makes it worse. I've tried to tell her to stop but she won't. Also I live with 6 little kids under 10 and one is an infant, and he just knocks them down and starts biting them... PLEASE HELP ME!!

i have a boston terrier that is 7 years old we have taken him to the vet and to a neurologist the neurologist told us our dog has fluid on his spine and there is nothing we can do for him. he is tripping losing his balance and his right paw seem to be turing in (front paws) we also took him for acupture shot but they did not help i have ask several other people some vets some people who have dogs and they stated they have never heard of fluid on the spine please if anyone reads this and has any information please e mail us. thank again carol

I have a Papillon mix and i have read that they are prone to blindness! He is always squinting and he has lost the hair in the corner of his eyes and his always has very thick tears! I want to know if anyone knows anything about this! I do plan on taking him to the vet! But i wanted to hear anyone comments and see if anyone has heard of anything like this before! I know he can see fine but i am afraid over time he might go blind! Which i would be horrible because i have a 2 year old! He's great with her now but im afraid he might get spooked if he goes blind and bite her! Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks in advance!

My dog goes crazy barking and running around in circles when I leave the house or visitors leave. The noise is driving me crazy. He does the same if I put him out because of visitors. How can I stop him I have tried so many things and it will work for a short while then stop!!!!

i got a dog today for christmas

and i have 3cats

and hes the greatest dog ever

seriosuly

hes jsut what i wanted
but he is attacking my cats

and two of my cats

have some mental issues
and insacure with
a wild cat in a neighborhood

a year ago attacking them

and me and my mom

are afraid this might put them over the edge

does anyone know a way to train her to stop

so we dont have to
get a diffrent dog?

My Cocker Spanial has a cateract in one eye and the start of one in the other, I have 2 wks to determine if I will have this done or it will be too late to give her the surgery. She is 7 yrs old and the surgery is $1600 and I really hate to say it but I just don't have the money, any suggestions.

My dog will eat and drink and play when I take him outside or give him a toy but he will only chew the toy for only a few minutes and go back to lay down. And when he comes back in from outside he will walk around once or twice and then go lay back down once again.

I'm giving away one of my two puppy beagles, both 6 months old, brother and sister. I don't want to, and I love them both very dearly, but me and my family pretty much has to.


Here's the story:
My father recently sold his business in September. Ever since then, my family has had severe money problems. My dad had no job for about 2 months, and my mother's real estate business was almost non-existent. We had no money. We had bought the dogs about 3 weeks before he sold the business, so we had no idea we were going to face this problem. Well now, my father and mother are getting divorced, and my mother does not have enough money for most of her bills, nevermind supporting two puppies, who need frequent doctor's appointments and neutering operations, etc.


Now my question is, which dog should I give away? The boy or the girl? Does one deal with the separtation better than the other? Also, are boys or girls easier to take care of?Thanks for your help during this sad time for me.

I let my dog out for about ten min. and she went across the street and my neighbor of 15 yrs. had let her declawed cat that was very old out and my dog killed the cat. I don't know how to face my neighbor. We are both big animal lovers and I saw the cat as they picked it up to go to the vet. It was horrible. I breifly considered taking my dog to the humane soceity but I know they would put her to sleep. I am just sick over this and I don't know what to say to my neighbor. Please help me.
