The most popular dog name in North America is Sam, Sammie or Samantha (which means "listener"). The second most popular is Max, Maxie, Maxwell or Maxine (which means "the greatest" in Latin). Third is Lady, followed by Bear, Maggie, Buddy, Tasha, Chelsea (or Chelsie), Holly and Shasta. Other very popular names are Brandy, Ginger and Taffy.

When I want to change my name, or make a character name, I start with some random vjdsbgviuerb and break it down. If you're aiming for a more 1337 tag, think of somethings you like, and try to incorporate it with some $ymb01$, and another would be to take a word and have rAndOM capitalized letters in it. Or, like alsome, take a regular awesome-ish word and and change it to how it sounds to you (Awsum, Ahsom, etc.).
