I think they are beautiful dogs. I think all dog are beautiful because they are all unique looking.

Having owned 4 Silky Terriers and now am the proud owner of a 2 years old Sheltie. I can truthfully say that my Lucy is the cutest of the bunch.... but don't tell her she is much to spoiled anyway

They are pack animals (do well with another Sheltie as a buddy to live with), smart, highly trainable and look just like little Lassies.
They like to "herd" and some will bark a lot.

Yep. They are cute. =] I have a sheltie. Male one, thats nine years old. Adorable little dog really.. though the downs of them is the fact that, they are very shy.. very.

Absolutely! I have a tri-colored female named Saffy. She is my third sheltie. I used to have a female sable merle named Dilly (her AKC name was Mayfair's Piccadilly Lady) and a female blue merle named Shadow (her AKC name was Crystal Blue Persuasion). Saffy's litter was not AKC registered.

No. They are too pointy, bark a lot, and tend towards being nervous.
That is just MY opinion. I am sure they are great for people who like that kind of dog.
