hi, I' read quite a bit on pregnant dogs, but the one thing I can't find
much on is how much of a chance is there that my 2 year old
Jack russell may be pregnant by only tieing up once with my niegbors Jack russell? Yes we had plans on spaying her when she tuned a yearold but nieghbors moved in with a male jack russell so we held off for her next heat which was last week, but they only managed to tie up once (tall female, short male, lol). IS it a good chance she is or not? if not then we're not gonna try again. Luckly neighbors use to breed before so I'll be learning alot from them. So is it a good chance she is pregnant if they only tied once? Thanks for any response.

I just had my female spayed today -she is 6 mos. old. Is it ok to give her baby asprin for her discomfort as the vet did not give her anything. Just to take the edge off?

My friend loves doxies. His first dog was a doxie and he's never lived without one since. He has a red female right now. She's sick. Age. My biggest wish is to give him his next one as a gift. I'm moving away and I thought that would be perfect. The cost is the only problem. I'm a student and simply could not afford it. I was just wondering if maybe there were any doxies out here in California, that were having babies, that wouldn't mind me having one to give to my friend. I found a Great Pyrenees at a local fast food resteraunt beggin for food and trying to get into peoples cars with them. She was emaciated, pregnant, flea ridden, matted, dirty, exhausted, etc. She has since had her pups, spayed, and been through heartworm treatment. She is an absolute angel, you could not ever find a nicer, calmer, sweeter, more trusting dog anywhere. I have 13 other dogs but am having trouble naming this one for some reason. I want something unique, original, that reflects her good nature. Any suggestions?

So Hershey has a really weird shaped body and head. He can get out of any collars or harnests when we go for walks! This makes it really hard because he has a problem with other dogs and tries to attack them, even thought he's tiny. And he's really nice with us, but not with dogs. Anyways, do you know of someways to either control him, or do you know of any thing to keep him on his leash? PLEASE HELP!

If you even touch those areas on him his leg starts thumping and once you start scratching him he can't stop- so we feel bad even petting him, because it seems to get him going on the itchies. He has chewed a small spot on his tail raw. I want to figure this out before it gets any worse.

Here are the details, please read before answering. Thanks!

-We got him at the Humane Society about a month and a half ago. He did not seem to seem to have this issue when we got him. At least not that we noticed.
-He is an almost 2 yr old German Sheperd mix.
-He does not have fleas, we checked him thouroghly, we use Advantage and our other dog is not scratching or chewing at all.
-We tried changing his food about 3 weeks ago, he is currently eating Science Diet Adult.
-I also tried using different kinds of shampoo and I always rinse him extra well after baths.
-His skin has not changed pigment and his hair is not falling out.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
