Hey my Mon lives in Racine!! There is great place she got her shephard called Shel-Ray in Bristol. Prices range from $350-$700 and all the dogs are AKC certified with papers. Make sure he/she has papers for good hips, too. Our family has always gotten females. Breeding possibilites too. Hope this helps

Try going to the Humane Society! They've got some great doggies there, and they're a great price too. Almost all of them are usually under $100 and you get all sorts of freebies!

You do not need to wait anymore... It seems to me that you love dogs, and if you had one, you know how to take care of this lovely animals.
German shepeherds are expensive, some prices here:

This is what you must expect from a German shepherd (male or female)

For me male is a much more beautiful shape and image, but some people prefere female.

I know a really good sheep herder called Klaus - I believe he is German although he may be from Austria - easily confused . Anyway , he would cost about £10,000 a year and , I think , be excellent value for money .

Whenever you feel ready to ADOPT another one is fine, it varies from person to person. If you're ready for another dog, then you should get one.
Also, please ADOPT or RESCUE a German Shepherd, instead of buying one from a petstore/breeder. It's cheaper, and saves lives. Here's a link from petfinder:

good luck!
