Dogs - June 2006

I have 25 pets. I've got 18 fish, 3 dogs, 2 rabbits, & 1 hamster. I've got a Samoyed Husky named Snowball, a Chihuahua named Cricket, & a mixed breed named Roxi that's all of my dogs. My rabbits names r Midnight, & Twilight. My hamsters name is Flower.

we dont have the money to take her to the vet right this moment. we will in a couple weeks but ima fraid its gona be to late.this puppy is my world n i dont want to loose my baybgurl. i jus need to no how long do you think she will have to live? ive noticed signs for maybe 1 week now.

I have washed my dog, used powder, vacumed everything, shampooed my carpet, swept my bare floors, and moped, cleaned all the bedding in the house,,my dog bedding especially, have tried, flea collars, flea bombs, flea carpet powder, dips, and even the natural things, like ceder chips, and penny royal. Just moved into a new house in the country. People before us left their dog. By my calculations it's been about 12 weeks that she has been pregnant. We do not have a shelter in this area, and no vets within 50 miles. I can't afford to take her to a vet, much less drive an hour to do so. I've read that normal pregnancy for dogs is 9 weeks. Is there anything that I can do to induce her? Or should I just wait it out? Her temperature is still 102, however 2 days ago she started dripping fluid from the vaginal area, but still no pups. She has a safe place, and I just don't know what else I need to do to help her. Any suggestions?

I know of a family who's son had a friend over and was provoking the dog when no one was around,but the kids and he was bitten. The dog is now in the pound under quarantine and hasn't had a shot for 3 years and might be put down because of this. Is there something this family can do to keep it's dog? The dog is very well behaved. He was told to stay away from the dog. Please help!

THIS little dog is sweet, loveable but not social with other dogs, she wants all the atttention, and to be close to owner, i have a german shep she does not get along with, this dog was abandoned, and i love her, but she needs someone who is home alot and willing to be her buddy, i need someone who will let her sleep with her , cudddle, and be close . i need help fast her name is cha cha , very cute, playful, she has drysking problem, i am trying to get help for but i am on fixed income, all i want is the right person or couple who would love this tiny sweet dog. Most of all someone who really really wants that kind of companion .

I have a dog nail clipper but everytime I try to cut her nails she gently tries to move my hand away (with her mouth) and other times she whines. I don't want to hurt her, but I 'm not sure if I'm doing it right. Any (serious) suggestions?
