Stop feeding her for 24 hours. Keep fresh water readily available. Then give SMALL amounts of chicken broth. If she vomits the broth, then she needs to see a vet. There are many reasons, the most urgent is an obstructed bowel. If she tolerates the broth after 2 feedings, then try a HANDFUL of her regular dog food. Slowly increase the amount she gets until she is back to regular feeding.
As for the grass, some dogs eat it because they like to...(mine do, they are part GOAT) and some will eat it to make them puke.
Don't know why....

No. That is old wives tale. Most dogs like grass b/c it is sweet and juicy. Does not settle their stomachs. Did you feed your dog people food or trash? If so, may have upset stomach. Hold off food and water for a few hours. If vomiting continues, take to vet.

Yeah they eat grass to settle their stomachs. Your dog could have a common stomach bug. I'd give it water and if it's not better in 24 hours take it to the vet.

Yes when a dog or a cat are not feeling well they will eat grass or you can boil milk and after it cools some give it to them. they also sell pet grass at the pet stores that you keep in a planter indoors so they don't get pestacide poisoning.

yes grass is the way dogs settle their stomachs when they aren't feeling well and well its normal that it vomited after eating the grass and my suggestion is to take it to a vet. maybe it is hookworms or something that can be treated with medicine. go to the vet>:-)

The best reference I have ever found for pet health between vet visits is a book called Natural Health Care for Dogs and Cats by Drs. Pitcairn & Pitcairn.

I am now using my second copy of the book after the first well worn one was "re-appropriated" by a neighbor in need.

I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Yes dogs eat plants when their stomach is up set. sometimes my dogs eat mint leaves just because though.

In my opinion you should take your dog to the vet. She could have stomach problems.

No, they eat it knowing it is the way to get rid of whats bothering them with their stomachs. Make your dog some ground lean beef, and brown rice. This will help with the diarrhea
