Dogs - June 2006

He is mostly black with a little brown. He is a small pup and I can not figure out a name. Any ideas. Good ideas, don't answer this if you are gonna act like a 5 year old .

About every two weeks, does anyone know what this is or caused from, we give him milk to settle his throat, is this bad? What should I do?

If we sit on the sofa the dog has to get between us. He is an english bull terrier.

When we go to bed he has to lie between us.

I have tried locking him out of the room but on one ocassion he put his head straight through the door!! Heafty vets bill.

He has been neuted over five years ago. He is now 7.

He weighs 44 kgs so quiet large to move - he is on a diet!!!

I have 2 Male 9 Month old Akitas just the other day they got into a really bad fight, Dominance i guess. Niether of them are neutered, but the one his testicals are still up in his belly so i'm getting him fixed next week. Do you think this will stop their fighting? B/c the one that isn't getting neutered is the dominant one. Please any Advise will help, is there any one you have heard of with a similar situation???

A year ago my dog (beagle) got sprayed by a skunk and now all he does is run around the yard, ive nutered him, gotten a shock collar but nothing seemes 2 work.I have a dog run were he stays most of the day. Wats really weird is that my other dog got sprayed 2 but she doesnt run. Could u please help me PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So far we have used pieces of cheese and broken up bits of banana chips. These work well but I was wondering what other people use. For those who prepare their own liver treats, how do you do it. I want something the dog (golden retriever) will not get tired of and will be healthy for her.

I have puppy training sheets all over the house but he always seems to miss them. I let him out for awhile, then when I let him back in he goes to the bathroom.

On the biting, hes playing when he bites. His bites leave marks and sometimes he draws blood.

We have a rott mix we got from the pound 4 years ago and when we bring our 8 month old close to him he makes a growling sound lightly with his mouth closed as to warn us to get her away. He doesnt bite and he loves getting attention. i know when she crys it must irriate her becuase he leaves the room. the weird thing is that when we had our baby outside and i was washing the car he stood by her the whole time, i thought to make sure nothing bad happened to her and when she started to cry there he got real close as to comfort her. i thought maybe he thought since i was washing the car he had to watch over her. But in the house he doesnt want her near. i really hope as she getts older that he likes her becuase im sure se will love him and want to be his friend. Maybe he was hit by a baby or maybe he was given away after a baby was born or maybe he got introuble in the past by dong something to baby? Do you think hes jelious or doesnt like her.
