My dog keeps whining, she wont drink much water, she pee'd in the house... I don't think it was really cause she had to go potty, but does not want to go outside, she wont sit still she'll lay down then get back up and move, and she's like pacing? She hasn't been in heat so what are the chances she's pregnant? And what could be wrong?

My sog is a large breed and got up to take a drink of water - When she went back to her puppies she stepped on one on accident and broke ites neck. I am heart broken. I do not want this to happen again, but do I take the puppies from their mom? What should I do to prevent this from hapenning again?

My dog bit someone recently cos she came up behind him and frightened him. I have apologised and gave the lady he bit a present from the dog to say sorry. She has been nice about it but one of my friends (who I stopped socialising with) is going around telling everyone and I know from what she has said about other people that she makes things up and can be really poisonous about innocent people. Im worried that she is going round saying that my dog is some kid killing man eating rabid beast! Her mum has already been trying to get details out of me but I wouldnt take her on. both my dogs have a good reputation as I have trained tham myself and been strict. what can I do about this girl? She is so nasty that she went round saying her ex was a peodophille!!Thers no point in speaking to her as she just denies everything if shes ever confronted.No nasty answers pls! A man I know has a dog that he leaves chained up in his back yard all the time. I think it is cruel for that animal to live it's entire life on the end of a ten foot chain, but apperently he does not. Isn't that cruel or at the very least some sort of neglect.

I have a 3 y/o Black Lab. His left ear is very red, has a bad odor and a lot of discharge. I have tried to clean it with peroxide and a cotton ball. He doesnt really like it though. Is this something he should go to the vet for? I find it ironic I am taking him on Friday for his shots. Just dont know if he needs to go sooner.
