My dog bit someone recently cos she came up behind him and frightened him. I have apologised and gave the lady he bit a present from the dog to say sorry. She has been nice about it but one of my friends (who I stopped socialising with) is going around telling everyone and I know from what she has said about other people that she makes things up and can be really poisonous about innocent people. Im worried that she is going round saying that my dog is some kid killing man eating rabid beast! Her mum has already been trying to get details out of me but I wouldnt take her on. both my dogs have a good reputation as I have trained tham myself and been strict. what can I do about this girl? She is so nasty that she went round saying her ex was a peodophille!!Thers no point in speaking to her as she just denies everything if shes ever confronted.No nasty answers pls! My dog is an angel, he made a mistake as he got a fright

sorrowsmiles-the Q was not open to you, P#ss off you heartless witch. I dont have huge problems and am thankful for that but as my dogs are part of teams who compete, this is an issue for me as reputation is important. Spread your misery somewhere else pls.

This 'friend' isnt a friend, so dump her. Why not take your dog out to meet your real friends and everyone that matters and show them he is a normal friendly dog, then next time your 'friend' spreads her poison no one will beleive her and she will be exposed as the sad malicious gossip she is..

it sounds like you took good care of the situation with your dog and the lady he bit. the present was a nice touch. your friend is no friend at all and you made a smart choice in writing her out of yours and your dogs life. she is no friend. she sounds jealous to me and vindictive. ignore her. really. as was already said she will find someone else to pick on when she becomes board. just be glad to be rid of her and just keep on loving your sweet dogs and
dont waste a moment more worrying about what some spiteful bully is saying. i can guarantee that if she is spreading these rumors to your real freinds(not that they should be listening) but they are probably thinking to themselves what an immature little b*t*h she is while smiling at her two faces. you have nothing to worry about. now if the lady who was bitten causes a problem the you can worry, but certainly not over someone as inconsequential as your two faced ex-friend. find a new friend or get closer to other ones.

Next time you see her, hit her on the nose with a rolled up news paper and tell her she a bad girl. In truth there is not really much you can do about a person so filled with hate and self loathing. It sounds like people already are on to her. Do what you always do as if she dose not exists. That will hurt her more than anything else

It is god that you don't socialize with her anymore, soon, everyone will do the same thing, she will not have anyone to tell these lies to. Don't worry about it either, if everything is OK with everyone else especially the person who startled the dog and got bit, don't worry, just snub that girl. She will have her own bad reputation as a liar. I will say, she will piss off the wrong person someday and you know what that means. Glad you have fine dogs, and glad they have you!!!

I understand ur feeling.... First of all the lady shouldn't frightened him.. Dog have feeling also just like human even though some would not agree, As long as u and the lady has an understanding I would not worry about what the girl is saying .. As long as ur dog have all his or her shot and it will not affect the lady in anyway. let her talk .

You're angry with her for spreading rumors about your DOGS? Who CARES what she says about your dogs? And if she's spreading those kind of rumors, hopefully no one else will pick on the dogs. Wow, if this is something in your life concerning you MOST, you've got issues! Or should I say, you DON'T have issues and we should all spend a silent moment evying you! :D
