No one oreo wont hurt him, but since chocolate is poisonous to dogs I dont recomend that he eats another.

While unloading groceries, our dog got into an unopened bag of Oreos and ate about half of it. She is only 8lbs and looked like a stuffed pig big belly and all. It took 2 days until she had a normal #2, but she was fine after wards. Just provide plenty of water and keep the Oreos out of reach;)

I really don't think it'll kill him. If he ate it last night and is still okay now, then I don't think you have anything to worry about. It is true that dogs are allergic to chocolate, but with that small amount in such a large dog, it should be no big deal. I have a friend with a large yellow lab who accidentally got a hold of and ate a whole 1 pound bag of jelly beans, and he was fine. It's crazy what dogs can eat!

I have a dog that is 10 yrs old. All I've ever feed him is hard dog food and he's never ever been sick. Not 1 trip to the vet in 10 years. as for the chocolate, a large amount depending on weight of animal and amount it could be harmful...My dog the 10yr old ate a large chocolate candy bar one night as we slept. He's still here.

No, he should be ok. If he only ate one, probably nothing will happen. He might get a stomach ache, but it shouldn't be serious. My collie got in the house and ate a whole bag of carob covered almonds (carob is like choclate) AND she got into a bag of ginger cookies. She was just fine.

he will be fine ..if he was a little dog it could be a problem but he is a big boy and he will be ok..do not worry about it but be careful in the future and watch out for the oreos..lol..be blessed and good luck

No, if he seems fine he probably will be fine ,I had a Spaniel that ate them by the handful. i wouldn't let him have anymore. Chocolate is poisonous to dogs- onions too.

The dog will most likely not die. You have to give a dog a lot of chocolate for them to die. One time my dog ate alot of easter candy and did not die.

Chocolate is poisonous to dogs, but just one won't hurt. He ate it last night and he is fine today? He is OK. Just don't let him get anymore.
