Normal is 101.5 -102.5. You can use an ear , oral (if cooperative!) or rectal.

normal is 100-101. You don't need to take it all the time, but it's nice to have a thermometer around. When you really need it is if your dog is pregnant or sick. you don't have to use the rectal one, I don't! I use the PetTemp ear thermometer. It's fast, easy to use, and correct. You have to make sure you do it right though or it will be way off. I think you can get one at www.petedge.com I breed collies (they are AWESOME!!)

Normal temp is 101 to 102. You do take it with a regular thermometer using Vaseline.

About 100-101 is normal for dogs and you do not have to check your dog's temperature. Your vet should do it during your dog's yearly check up.
