Yes! I think golden retrievers are the best dogs ever! They are very friendly, cute, and obedienty. I have a golden retriever and her name is Typsy, no not tipsy. She is so friendly and loves to run.

I had a golden several years ago... Ruger. He was an awesome dog. Currently, I'm owned by a border collie. She puts a whole new meaning to the word neurotic. While both breeds have their qualities, I have to admit, I prefer the borders over the goldens. But then, I live on a ranch and they're a little better suited for the lifestyle.

I had a Golden for 3 years. Her name was Angell (yes, 2 l's) and she was an angel. A little over 2 years ago I lost her to sudden kidney failure. The vet said there was no real explanation as to why it happened. I buried her in my back yard and I still miss her.
