Hi,
I don't think it's a good idea to buy dogs off the web. Like with anything else, you don't know what you're getting. You can't go to where they're being kept and see the conditions they're living in, etc.
What type of dog are you looking for?
Maybe you could go to the Humane Society or if you're looking for a specific type, you could contact a rescue group in your area.

You do not buy dogs off of websites, the same way you don't buy them at pet stores. These places generally are selling pup from puppy mills.
Find reputable breeders and get a dog there. Go to visit, meet the parents of the pup, look around where they are raised. Are they in a home? Are they kept clean, can you meet and see the other pups? Are they happy and healthy?
The last dog I bought, we got from a breeder, he was selected because he played with my then 4 year old, then he crawled in his lap and went to sleep.

If you are going to buy a dog off line make sure it is a local breeder where you can go and meet the parents or you are resucing a dog from a shelter. Dog's that are bought on line come from breeders who over breed their dogs and force them to live in a chicken farm situation. The mothers of these dogs are breed and breed and are normally negleted and don't come from a normal home like setting but from a puppy mill. If you buy from one of these web sites you are oly supporting the abuse of dogs. so look i your local paper or rescue place.

I sell my pups on line and am very reputable. I have references from past customers and everything. You do need to be careful and make sure you talk to the breeder and ask the right questions just as you would if you went to a local breeder. I use the puppyfind.com website....check there...they give you tips to make sure you are protected when you buy on-line.

Planet canines is fantastic! they have the most appropriate toys, and maximum of them are indestructible. I actually have a shepherd/Lab blend and a Husky/Australian Shepard blend, and they both chew by all their toys except those i purchase from planetdog. they are produced from some style of rubber it really is squishy, yet would not damage. it really is my in demand internet web site for my pups.

why dont you try a shelter near your home.. try petfinder.com
or the ASPCA website. you can find lovely dogs there, they are not for sale, and there is a process but you can try it.
