to keep him from barking so damm much? serious answers please, getting rid of the dog is not an option, its a miniature doberman pincher 1 yr old.

We have a long-haired miniature dachshund that is 6 months old. He is neutered and very sweet. However, I have noticed that when I take him to the vet or start to hand him off to someone he does not know, he pees on me because he is scared. We take him on walks, to the dog store, etc. quite often and he does great. But, I just don't know what to do about this! If you have any experience with a situation like this, please let me know what you did!

I have been told there is something you can put on a dog inseason like a nappy is this true and where can I buy them..Its very annoying having her dripping everywhere...

Hi i have a 2 yr old 150lb akita. He is a great companion. He is very nice to strangers and i am not fond of that. I would some how like to train him out of it. Also about a year ago someone broke into our house and my akita automaically took the burgular down, i would also like to train him godforbid i have another burglarry for him to lunge on command . If any body can,please help. thanks

Me and my fiance want to get a dog, but we want to get one that is good to be on its own for most of the day, potty trains fast and will not pee in the house, doesnt need a yard we live in a town house a small dog would be perfect. Does anyone have any suggestions and if you dont mind putting why you think its a good dog?! Thanks

She is 12 years old and seems very happy and healthy, but the vet says her kidneys are failing, and i have to give her iv fluids 2x a week. We have been doing this for a few weeks, and i just want to know if she has a good chance of living years, or just a few months?

i have just recently took in a dog from the shelter......aussie/german shep mix. he's almost a year old. but whoever had him before did not train him. he chews on things too. is it possible for me to still train him to sit and lay down. teach him the word potty, no, sit, speak. what is good for him not to chew. how about that spray stuff? i love him to death already and i will not give him up......but i need to work with him. ppl tell me he's too old to train. i don't believe that. thanks all.

The ppl that bought the puppy called me to tell me that the puppy was making a sound. When i got to their house the puppy was in a corner and wouldn't come out. The ppl said they didn't have money to take her to the vet. So i took her to my house so she could get better. When she was at my house she played and played but she still made the noise like something was stuck in her throat. The ppl have 3 bois and they fed her frosted flake and bacon because they didn't have food for her. She finally stopped making the noise so we took her back the next day. When i took her back she ran back in the corner. Do you think i should tell the ppl i need her back? Or should i just do more recent checks?

My dog is four months old.
She seems to be going through a teething stage or something, because all of a sudden she is now chewing on everything and doesnt seem all too interested in her toys anymore. Whenever I take away whatever I dont want her to chew, she tries to fight me for it, and bites?

She is a cocker spaniel puppy and is on Purina puppy chow and I don't want to feed her too much or too little. Also, I am now feeding her three times a day but have heard that this may be too much.
