I'm sorry, but are you saying that you knowingly sold a puppy to people that not only couldn't afford to take it to the vet, but couldn't afford to feed it? First off, that puppy does not need to stay with those people. Secondly, if you don't have any more sense than to sell a puppy to people like that, then you need to make sure your dog at the very least is fixed, or maybe you should consider finding a better home for your own animals.

I'd get that puppy back. If she's running and cowering in a corner like that then she is clearly terrified of something. Sometimes kids can be really, really cruel to animals. Also, if they don't have money for food for the dog then they should have never been allowed to take that puppy in the first place. I'd take that dog back in a minute and wouldn't think twice about it. She'll find a better home with a little more time. Consider doing a home check and a vet reference.

HELLO!! WAKE-UP! Not to sound mean and blunt here - no I DO WANT TO SOUND MEAN!!!, but if a person cannot afford to take a dog to the vet, or have the decency or knowledge to feed this puppy the proper food - first, you should have known that before you sold it and you have a moral obligation as the 'breeder' or whatever you are - to take it back!
If you heard that something was stuck in her throat, why did YOU NOT take her to the vet? Even if the next day the puppy sounded better - who knows what it actually ingested? or if there is something going on internally that only a vet can find out?
Get it back and take responsibility, for the present owners (who you sold it to) obviously are not.

This is why we call you backyard breeders. You make the money off the puppies and do not check the people who are getting them!!!!!!! If they didn't even have food to feed the dog and no money to take it to the vet, what kind of home do you think they can offer it??????? This could have beed avoided by checking references (vet) on puppy buyers to begin with. Then you would have found out more about these people!!! You should take the puppy back!! They may not want to give it back!! You cannot force them either!!!
Then stop breeding!!! You are not screening and therefore bringing puppies into the world just to go to crap homes!!!!!!!

Please take that puppy back from them. A puppy should not be scared to live where it is supposed to spend the rest of it's life. Noone or nothing should live their life in fear.
Also if they have no money for a vet, they can't call you everytime to come and fix it, pay for it. Puppy care including shots, food, toys and just general puppy items costs money. That is one reason why they should not have the puppy. They don't seem to understand or want the possibility.
I bet they were ready for the boys before they brought them home. At least I hope so.
They should have had proper food and water before the puppy got there.

I would not take this dog back if you have a choice!
If they think feeding him bacon and cheerios is cheaper & better in the long run, they're nuts!
What happen one day when this dog does need a vet? How long will he suffer? If they're too cheap to see a vet for emergencies, you know he's also not getting his shots. Or neutered.
Sounds like their priorities are in the wrong place. Please find a GOOD home for this puppy.

It sounds to me like the puppy is being abused. How old are they boys, maybe they are mean to the puppy. If they can't afford to feed him properly they also won't be able to take him to the vet when he needs to go. I hope they will give him back to you, I don't think the poor little guy is going to have a very good home.

Stop what your doing right now and go save that puppy! Sounds to me like shes scared to death and mistreated they didn't have food for her come on. Go get that baby and bring her back where she is happy. Just say when you had her you took her to the vet and they ran some tests and called back today and told me to bring her back in. There you go the doggy is back in your care and for all they know the puppy passed on at the vets office. Please go get the puppy.

I would go back and tell them that you need to take the puppy back to the vet. She's probably afraid of the boys. they may handle her abusivly. The puppy shouldn't be eating people food anyways. That is not an appropriate home for a puppy :(

first of all, why did you sell your puppy to a family with kids? i would never sell my puppies to families with kids because kids are not old enough to know that a puppy is not a toy. Second, they dont have money for food and money to bring the puppy to the vet?! i would NEVER sell a puppy to them. Third, why are you having second thoughts about taking the puppy back with you?! the puppy is not happy there,he/she is hiding in that corner because the family you sold it to were abusing it,or she got hurt really bad by someone in there so it is scare to death. please take that poor baby back and find her a loving home!
