I would like to BONK anyone on the head when they say 'dogs do like human food' sheesh!

My dogs (three of them) eat a ton of human food - cooked especially for dogs.. and they are in top shape - lean and happy, and all check-ups are perfect - all normal.

Recipes for dogs...
100s of Natural Home Made Dog Food Dog Biscuits and Dog Treat Recipes (go almost half way down the page to see a list of recipes..) - remember keep all ingredients as whole (no refined foods at all - humans should do the same really!)

Happy Birthday to your dog!! woof woof!

On my dog's first birthday, I invited some family over and baked her a little dog-safe cake. The link below is a site that says they got recipes from Three Dog Bakery. Use your good judgement as far as what your dog's tummy can handle and how much. I recommend just giving her a little slice and saving the rest for later treats. Then, of course, buy her toys and play with her a lot. Make the day all about her.

Have fun!

You can give her baked or boiled chicken breast.

Here is a recipe for a homemade dog borthday cake.

Birthday Cake #2
Ingredients: 1 lb extra-lean ground beef
8 eggs
1 cup oat meal
1/2 cup cracker crumbs
Directions: Using electric mixer, blend all ingredients until
completely blended. Pour into oblong pan sprayed
with non-stick spray. Bake in 350 degrees oven for
25 - 25 minutes. Allow to cool - carefully invert on to
plate and frost with non-fat sour cream. Store all
left overs in refrigerator.

Whatever you want, the dog has no concept of birthdays. Have a t-bone steak and give the dog the bone with a little meat left on it, the dog will love you for it!

I feed my dogs cooked rice, celery, carrots, lettuce, chicken with any sauce, cheese, pig ears with sauce, ice water, and on my dogs birthday, I give her a big bath so she can stay in all day. Make sure not to overdo it because that can cause diarrhea. Make sure your dog has little ten minutes breaks outside about every two hours. I make a little cake with cooked meat with no sauce, dog food sauce, and Alpo biscuits.

Give your dog any kind of protein and it will love you. They say dogs don't know it is their birthday, but baby's don't either and we celebrate that. Just make your dog feel like she has all your attention today that is what she really wants

They have cakes for dogs that are made of meat and dog food I think you should get one of those and invite other dogs over and get a normal human cake for you and the owners of the other dogs.

She won't enjoy human food, so just give her more food, take her out to a longer walk and invite all the dogs that she likes (not bites) tp your backyard!

Some dog specialty stores make cakes out of alpo. For people food that you can give your dog...you can give it an egg-simple but your dog will go nuts. you can also make dog biscuits out of oatmeal. Dogs have hardly any tastebuds, so you don't need to go overboard with flavor.
