Their breed has nothing to do with it - they can drink and eat from the same bowl if they like.

As long as you know both of them are disease-free, it's perfectly safe. HOWEVER--be wary at dog parks and places with community water bowls. I have a four year old mutt who once grew half-inch purple and white tumors in her mouth, and the vet had to cut them out. She said it was the equivalent of HPV canine virus, and she got it from a community water bowl at the dog park. Bring your own bowl, and train your dog to only drink from water you give them while out in public. But your two dogs at your house should be fine together! It would be impossible to keep separate water bowls anyway...

sure why not. i have two shi-poos and a bichon poodle mix.. they drink out of the same bowl, that is also shared by my indoor cat.
I try my darndest though at the dog run, to not let other dogs drink out of their travel bowl.. you never know!

it is very ok to have different breeds of dogs drinking from the same bowl. I have four different dogs and they share the water outside with horses, and cats. They don't seemed to be worried, and they are fine(not sick at all)

Of course. We have several dogs and they all drink and eat from the same bowls. No problem.

My dogs always drink from the same bowl, and when I had a cat, he drank right along with them.

Of course they can. Our daughter brings her mixed breed dog to our house and it and our schnauzer drink from the same bowl. Our cats also drink from our dogs bowl.

Why wouldn't they be able to? I've had multiple dogs my whole life and I have never had a problem. My cats AND dogs also share the same water bowl.
Good Luck!

Sure, unless the 2 are very competitive.
It they are fighting over who "owns" the bowl or the water, you need to give them separate bowls.
