I perfer a dog because dogs help people on so many things and i love dogs more than cats.

A dog because dogs are loyal. Cats seem as though they would turn on you. Every person I know with a cat has been scratched or bitten by them. My dog has never done that to me.

I love both dogs and cats but if I had to pick one, I would choose a dog because they are faithful and playful. Most cats tend to be shy and dogs are more outgoing.

I grew up attached to dogs, but now that my responsibilites outweigh my free time, I prefer cats. They're self-sufficient... they only require a little help cleaning out the litterbox and refilling their food and water dishes. It's not recommended, but you can spend 15 years with a cat and it never have to see a vet. EVER! (provided it's an indoor animal.)

i prefer cats because they are very loving. They sleep beside you at night and they are easier to take care of than a dog. Cats are very gentle. I've just always loved cats.

Definately a dog! Dogs love unconditionally. Cats tend to be a bit snooty! LOL!!! I love cats, though.

I prefer cats because they make great lap companions and you don't have to take them outside to use the bathroom all the time. They are good to have if you live out in the country for the mice. But dogs are good to but they are more work in training them and such.

To be honest with you....Cats. When you leave for a couple of days...a dog needs to go out to do their job and run...with a cat,you fill the food dish and litter pan and they are all set.But I did have a dog one time that could hold it for 3 days...after that..look out. lol

dogs , because they come to you when they are called and express more feelings than a dam cat ,cats just suck besides if someone broke into your house your cat would run faster than you to get away and your dog will protect you.

i have 2 dogs (a saint bernard and a great pyranees) and i like them because they are loyal and kind of my security while my husband is away. i also have 2 cats. my dogs take alot of my time while my cats are easier to take care of because they don't like to be bothered. i love both.
