You might consider letting the owners of the puppie you want know how much you would love to have one but you don't have the money and would they have any odd jobs around their home that you could do to pay them for the puppy.

Ask them how long they're selling the puppies. If you can ask them to reserve the one you want then you may have some time to get the money to buy it. If you know the price they're asking for to buy the dog and if you find a part time job during the week then the money you make on the job can go towards buying the puppy. Once you've reached the amount you need and the dog is still available then there shouldn't be problem getting the dog unless someone else want it. But other then that you should do just fine.

find a need that needs to be filled in your neighborhood, and do whatever it is. mow a lawn, help someone old dig the leaves out of their gutters if they cant get on a ladder themselves, make friends with neighbors and ask if they need any chores done, put up flyers all over your neighborhood "NEED A BABYSITTER?" then state who you've babysat for, that you know CPR and all the other important things you need to know for watching children, (if you dont know CPR, then dont say that) just dont forget to put your phone number and your first name down on the flyer. (if you've never babysat before, make signs for mowing lawns, like "$10 for any lawn mowed less than 40 feet by 40 feet!) that will probably get some peoples attention. bake cookies, and sell cookies on the sidewalk, whatever your good at doing, then do it. if you arent good at anything, then you wont be good at taking care of a puppy, now will you? so the best thing to do is get that way. pick something your not good at, and do it until you are good at it. and maybe the next time sombody puts some puppies up for sale, you'll already have enough money, because you'll already be doing something that you have money from.

its really easy. if your actually 18 you can go and get a job at a cafe, or a super market, anywhere, especially durring the summer. they might even hire you if your 16 durring the summer. it depends on what state you live in.

Dogs are great. But this is not a decision you should just "rush into".. It's not an impulse buy.

Your dog might live up to 15 years.. Are you prepared for that level of commitment? Are you going to be able to afford to look after this dog. Puppies are cute now, but in 2 years it will be a grown-up. How big will it be? How much excercise will it need?

If you really love dogs - you will want to be the best "dog parent" you can be. Don't rush into this. Do some research. Maybe go to a local shelter and "test drive" some of the different dogs out there.

I know these puppies are super-cute, but don't worry if you can't get one right now - believe me, there are plenty of cute puppies out there that need a home. Take your time. Do it right. Your future-dog will thank you!

good luck!

Get a job. You could mow the lawn or do other chores for the people selling the puppies in exchange for getting one. You could also do this for people to earn money.

what are you 12?? jeez if you cant even buy the dog how can you take care of it?, for exp. food costs about $10 a bag and if its a big dog (or will be) it will go through a couple bags a month, and don't forget vet bills, because it will need shots and to be "fixed".and it's a lot of responsibility it needs to walked all the time, brushed, picked up after, and kept out of trouble.so maybe you should wait a few years til you grow up.

Dude, if you can't afford to buy the dog, how could you possibly afford the food, training and veterinary care that it will need?

Save your love for another time, when you can appropriately care for your pet. ALL puppies are cute - trust me, you'll find another when you're more financially stable.

How much do they want for the dog? If it is too much you might find a cheaper one at the pound. If it is not too much maybe they will let you cut their grass or wash their cars til you work off the debt. Decide how many times you will do these things before you agree to take the dog.

Have you talked to the people who are selling the dog?

There is a possibility that they would be willing to work something out with you.
