I personally think is all crap. Why blame an innocent animal about bad luck?. I have a black kitten and so far nothing bad happened. So, what do u people think?

Our cat was accidently left in the house during a flea fogging. It's been 2 days and he seems okay. But tired and has a small swollen bump in the center of each outer ear. Any suggestions?

Sorry, slightly tortured grammar. So if your cat became a "cat who lunched" or something and the conversation came around to their humans, how would your cat describe you?

Sophie: I dunno, tall.
Poppy: Warm armpits. Moves too much though. She's a bed hog.
Sophie: I don't know about that, but she looks pretty darned good to me when she's in the kitchen! Really, she's just an ambulatory can opener. She serves no other purpose that I can see.
Poppy: You're right Sophie! I didn't think of that.

I moved in with my dad a few weeks ago. My dad's girlfriend has two cats and my cat didn't really pay any attention to them at first. About a week later, however, we can't get her to leave them alone. She's growl at them all night under my dad's bed and keep him awake and during the morning she sleeps. If he tosses her out of his room at night and into my room she cries all night and I don't get any sleep. The cats are scared to death of her and want nothing to do with her. They spend all their time in my dad's room :-( I feel so bad. My dad thinks we're going to have to send my cat back to live at my old house in chicago (which has two cats too and she got along with them fine). Any suggestions?

How much should I pay an acquaintance to feed my two cats once a day for 4 days, plus give one of them medicine? Her drive will be 5 minutes. Scooping out the food will take almost no time. The most difficult thing will be playing hide-and-seek with the cat who needs medicine. She has already practiced administering the medicine and didn't have a problem. I am not asking her to clean the litter boxes or do anything else. We are in southeast Michigan.

I took my 2 year & 6 month old cats to a quack vet after they started showing pnemonia-like symptoms & they prescribed them steriods. Is this really safe to give to my babies? They are still very sick & I don't know what to do.

There is a stray cat ( a family of three actually ) And this sweet one we want to take in.... Well, a couple days ago, my boyfriend saw it and it looked like it had a broken leg, i went to find it and it disappeared... we thought it had died..Well I saw it today, and it's back leg is just flopping, the poor thing... Do you imagine it is just a partial break, rather than shattered? Any tips for knowing what type of break it is? We are looking into vets to see which ones will not cost too much, hopefully we can find a generous vet...

I know it is different in various places, but maybe some of you can tell me what it would cost at your vet clinic, or average prices.... Thanks!

So I have two kittens from the same litter. The female has gone into heat at 4 months old (way sooner than I expected) so no vets will spay her for 3 weeks when she is out of heat. I am trying to keep the male and female separated, but what if they end up mating? What are the chances that the kittens will be deformed? Also, the female is only 4 months, how will that affect her?

I was given this male, short haired domestic cat and was told he had been "fixed" well he starting "kneading" on my leg, stomach ect for a long time then I realized he was aroused and there were wet spots on my clothes, when I tried to pick him up he yowel's at me and growels plus he started spraying. I got him neutered 3 days ago and last night he started the same thing again. Will he stop doing this after a few days? If not what can I do to get him to stop molesting me whenever I sit down and keep him from making my house smell terrible? Any help is appreciated!!!!! Thanks. Lisa

I have a cat and one kitten(under 12 wks. old) and a 15 mo. old son. Our home has been taken over by these fleas and I'm about to lose my mind. Does anyone know of ANYTHING To kill these fleas w/o harming my family. Myson is on the floor constantly so I'd like something that will not hurt him or my new kitten. And Momma cat is also still nursing is it safe to use anything on her? Thank you all very much.

They wouldn`t know any better..
I went outside to find my cat playing with a mouse and preparing to bring it inside.. When he saw me he started meowing and brought it up to me, purring and rubbing against my legs. He seemed very proud of himself. I read somewhere that they bring dead animals as gifts for their owners, but was wondering if there was any solid proof in terms of animal psychology.

I just gor 2 8 week old kittens from a lady, when I brought them home I discovered that they had fleas. This lady had dogs, and cats that she did let outside and so I am pretty sure these kitties contracted these fleas from the other animals.

I have been using the flea brush daily, but what is the best thing to do or to use to get rid of these fleas on these poor kitties.

* They are still too young for a flea collar , I beleive they have to be 12 weeks.

A week ago I adopted a young female cat from the Spca. I choose a young female because she seemed friendly. I was trying to find a similar cat to the one I own. I have a young friendly female cat who I thought could use a friend. I been keeping the new cat in my bathroom while I am sleeping or away. I let her out daily to play with the other cat, but they seem to not like each other. Another thing now when I pet the new cat she will claw me when shes in my lap. She has done this three times, making me not want to pet her, fearing she will claw again. She also has been messing on the floor. I have three cat boxes around the house. I have one in the bathroom and two in the living area. I even changed the cat litter to a non scent litter. She does go in the box when she is closed in the bathroom. I know it takes time for cats to adjust, but Im not sure if she will adjust. I would hate to bring her back, but I was thinking about trading for another one. Would I being doing right?
