I have had coco for over a year now since she was a kitten she is quite a wild cat and loves to be outside she has had one litter and has always seemed to be friendly and playful with the other cats that hang around. My dad brought home a stray cat that had been hanging around his gf's house for some time hes about the same age as coco and we named hiim casper, any way we brought him in the house and coco screamed at him and chased him into the corner of the kitchen and since then is always growling and hissing at him while he is relaxed but sometimes retaliates. We had them both spayed/neutered a few days after we got casper and still no change in coco she is always watching him and always mooches around with and evil face on her i dont think she will ever accept him we have tried everything for them to get along but she jst hates him can anybody give any useful advice that might resolve her feelings for him???thnks for reading

I have a six year old tabby cat, a dog nearing one year of age, and another dog nearing five years of age. My cat is okay with our older dog and can tolerate him, but he can't stand the puppy. The cat has a brother at the same age, but his brother is going through some health problems and is not expected to live a full life. That is the major reason I want to help my other cat to become friendlier with the other members of our household; his brother's death will be the end of the world for him. We already lost a cat this year, and I will feel terrible the day we lose another one and leave one all alone with those two dogs. I will also try making the other cat feel more comfortable around the dogs too.

My cat is two years old and not fixed. She is urinating and pooping outside of her boxes, the boxes are scooped everyday. She does her business outside the box right out in the open, she will poop in the bathroom two feet from her box when it is clean. Any help will be appreciated.

There has been a BEAUTIFUL wild cat that I have been feeeding for the last 6 months. At first she wouldnt come near me but now she comes when i call her- but WILL not let u pet her or hold her without clawing u to peices! The neighbors across the street have like 20 cats and for some reason they kinda shunned her and will not let her in their yard! She is very timid and will not fight with them- just wanters away! Its totally breaking my heart to see her unloved and so cold in the snow but how I can I get her to trust me? She is full grown not a kitten! Any help u might have please help! By the way every so often she DOES defend MY yard from a few of them but most of them scare her away so I have to hold her food bowl and only let her have it! Id love to offer her love, warmth and a home for the rest of her life but cannot seem to get quite close enough- is there help?

My cat is 16 and healthy (according to the Vet and recent blood results). However, she has soft stool that often doesn't make it to the litter box. Because she is long haired and doesn't really groom herself much anymore, fecal remnants generally stay with her so that when she sits on anything she leaves a stain of poop! It's really disgusting and just recently started. I have changed her food per the Vets advice and give her a high fiber dry food from Science Diet for Senior cats. I also give her lexatrone for hairball prevention becasue she used to throw up a lot. Anyone know what may be the cause/cure for this? I am desperate to find an answer.
She stills eats, sleeps, and drinks normally. She meows and is mobile as always. As age catches up to her she looses more and more weight dropping from about 14lbs. to barely 7lbs. No thyroid disorder as of yet...it was tested and came out normal. She is very boney and doesn't clean her stool completely. Please HELP!

My cat is getting old. We're not sure how old she is, but we've had her for 12 years. She is getting to the point where she isn't taking care of herself (doesn't clean herself), she has stopped using the litter box, and has recurring upper respiratory infections. I'm taking her to the vet tomorrow because she is hiding under the table and won't come out to be petted or anything. So, my question is, should I talk to the vet about euthanasia? She doesn't have cancer or anything like that, but I can tell she is miserable. I feel bad that I'm even thinking about it. I know that part of my reasoning is that she pees all over my carpet, but it's also because she is just not the happy cat that she once was. Have any of you had a similar experience?

Had our kitten for 2 weeks (from 6 wks old), and we have 2 major issues with the little mite:
1. Litter training. She 'came trained' and is great at leaving solids in the tray, but she is reluctant to use the tray for wees. She does occasionally wee in the tray, and usually goes in the tray if put there, but usually when we are not there in her room she pees on the newspaper under the tray or on the plastic tarpaulin that covers most of the floor. What to do? She has 2 good sized trays, which we try keep as fresh as possible, but we can't be there 24/7 to put her in it when she needs a wee.
2. She hates not being with us. When she is put in her room alone she meows, very vigorously for 10 mins plus. This isn't so bad when we go to bed (she settles eventually) but if ANYTHING makes a noise at night it sets her off, and we are losing a lot of sleep. +Once 6am comes there is no stopping her. I know she is young, and we are ignoring her when she cries, but she doesnt seem to be improving.

Its been awhile since ive ever had a cat thats had worms, it was just one on her rear end and it was white and small, though where their is one theirs usually more i know this. Her litter box is cleaned daily as well. Is their medicine i can give her at home or is it a nessassity to take her to the vet- i got her from the pound about a month ago and she passed all the vet checkups. I'm not sure how she got them.

He likes to dip his paw into it and then the water just goes everywhere...but he also drinks water from wherever he can find it- the faucets, glasses, bowls in the sink..etc.

My cat, since moving in with my family, has experienced an increased number of cat treats (about 6-8 a day as far as i know)...is this too many? Couls this be causing her loose poops? Is this common?

She eats the regualr old cat treats in the bag...sometimes the moist ones and sometimes the hard ones.

We'll be out of town for 11 days. A friend is coming over every-other-day to feed the cats, change the litter box, and check the mail.
I would like to pay her for help. What is the going rate for this type of service??

I have a Persian cat and he has very, very long hair and he gets knots like really close to his skin so it makes it hard to brush them out. Do these knots affect him at all or should I get him shaved and start over? I brush him ALL the time and he still gets these knots!
