Pure white British Shorthairs generally have blue or orange eyes - however it sounds like your lad isn't quite a pure white one ... do you think that he could possibly be a colourpoint? It would explain the blue eyes as colourpointed cats always have blue eyes ... however, his tail would probably not be jet black, more a dark brown know as seal

This website has a photo of a colourpoint - does he look a little like this?

However, as he looks thin to you & has a strange meow - then it's possible that he might be crossed somewhere with a Siamese & not a purebred.... or, as has already been suggested, he just might be a bit of an unusual little kitten - runt sounds such a horrible word for what sounds like a really pretty little kitten.

Bet you love him though, no matter what he is.

British short hairs can come with blue eyes yes. I have a Norweigan Forest Persian. She also has a strange meow and is quite small. Did you get the runt of the litter? This may explain why he is so skinny!!! As for the strange meow, at least you know that you will always be able to identify him when he cries!!

if its heavily built and has a flat persian like face then he is just not show quality. very often purebreds aren't of show quality nd this is why they are cheaper nd easier to get as pets.

british short hairs are recognized by their face it seems, and can have many diff. color coats, depending on whether your kitty is show quality ( calico I think is the only show quality multi colored coat) there is tabby, and mostly solid colored cats......
