Assuming your kitty has no health problems you should be able to look forward to a least another 6 years and maybe over ten years of kitty love.
Both of my childhood cats lived to over 16 years. Each of them had to be put to sleep for different health problems. They were indoor/outdoor cats for most of their lives (when they got older they didn't go out much) and my parents always fed them the cheapest cat food.
Probably the biggest risk for most kitties that go outside is being hit by a car. If you live on a busy road it is not a good idea to let kitty out. Cats can also contract several diseases pretty easily from other cats. So it is really important to keep cats vaccinated if they go out.

Good luck & enjoy your kitty!

most cats live to about 15-17 years but I have seen a few cats that were 20, 21, an done that was 22, so it depends on their health and how much care you are willing to give them. You should have a least a few good years left with your kitty. Good luck

likely about 7 years, I think most cats live to be somewhere between 14-18, but I've heard of some making it to 21 before!

At cat can live for a long time, even outside their predicted life expectancy. My psych teacher said her cat lived to 20, and another lived to 18. If you take good care of your cat(I.e, good diet, proper care, keep him/her indoor [to avoid them getting ran over or from other unfriendly cats and dogs, coyotes, etc.]), a good checkup by the vet, then he/she will live longer.
