Don't encourage rough play. Owners often encourage the bad habits they don't want by ruffling up the kitten with their hands.
Teach the kitten to play crazy with toys...not hands. If the kitten continues to bite at hands, stop playing and take a time out. Walk away entirely. Eventually it should sink in for the kitten that biting stops play and playing rough only with toys is okay.
Hitting, poking or squirting water on the kitten when you're in close proximity to it will teach it that being near you or interacting with you is what's to be avoided. And that's not what you want either.
I'd never condone hitting or physically reprimanding a cat. But squirting water on it is a good solution for other bad behaviors like scratching furniture or getting on/in places where you don't want it.

kittens bite hard cause thier scared and only trying to protect themselves and because cats arn't very strong they use thier claws and there teeth. try grtting you kitten some chew toys when the kitten bites you punish them by like a spray bottle or whatever you want then after spraying them say no and but the chew toy in front of its mouth after a couple days of that they shouldn't bite you

Kittens bite as play behavior, your kitten doesn't understand that this is hurting you. You might want to think of getting another kitten the same age; when kittens play and one bites too hard the kitten receiving the bite runs away. Since playtime ends, the kittens learn not to bite as hard.

it might grow out of it, we got a new kitten bit and scratched all the time. she was only playing too, now she just sits around, eats and poops. i like cats that are playful, not the duds.

Use a spray bottle with water in it.......that will usually cure any bad behavior after awhile and it is not painfull.

wow, because saying 'kitties' makes you gay..?
wtf?
anyway;
if you flick his nose everytime he bites you, he'll stop pretty quick. and a little flick won't do any real damage. :)

they might bite so hard is because you might be gone all the time and you never spent any time with the cats.
