I have a 9 month old female kitten, who we got 2 weeks ago, she woon't sleep in her bed, so someone suggested catnip spray, to get her to use the bed and her toys, but she doesn't seem to like it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do, or can anyone explain why she doesn't seem to like it?

We are looking at getting a cat and some of the cats we have seen online have a line under them that reads "this pet has been altered". What does that mean?

most cats of my acquaintance just eat the jelly and leave the "meat" bits.

I'm looking for the plain black one that says "My cat can beat up your cat." Ever notice that stupid little things are hard to find online? ;P

I just got a cat 3 days ago. I got her trained to the litterbox already )which is pretty awesome since I havent had a pet in so many years) but i'm having a problem with her eating habits. At first she didnt seem to like dry food, but wet food made her breath smell SO BAD that i'm switching her back to dry. Anyway, she eats good now, but she doesnt drink her water. She used to be an outdoor cat (she's about 6 months old i think) and I adopted her and she is now an indoor cat. I clean the bowl daily but she doesnt touch it and she starts meowing with this raspy meow like she's thirsty but she wont drink it! And she wont drink milk either. I dont know why not. Can you help? She also sneezes a lot and I think she has a cold.

She's getting heavy, everything that is on the table she'll grab and eat then she wipes her face when she's done. If you're opening something...even peeling a banana, she'll EYE it I mean REALLY EYE it. She keeps taking us to the kitchen watching behind every step to see if we are following her to her dinner spot. We are feeding her properly with plenty of water and Three meals a day and she still insists on eating even more. Its like she's got the Cat form of Prader-Wili.

I have 9 cats in all, all relative except for one dominant older male that rule the neighborhood.(since my neighbors have witness several cat fights and my dominant male cat has come out on top..other cats have not been near our house)...anyway, my female cat will sleep at the neighbor house next door. My cat Jade will come home for short time to eat and hang out until she sees other resident cats and will hiss and attack them when they get near. She is however, very loving, attached to me and my wife and always come when called...I would like to see her sleep at home and get along with other cats. What can i do?

My cat that I have had for 2 years now is suddenly attacking everyone that comes in the door - even if it's someone they know from previous situations. I love my cat to death but its starting to hiss at me when I go into the same room she's in. She used to sleep down by my feet on the bed and now she hides everywhere. Yesterday my parents brought over there puppy and my cat jumped at it and got it by the neck and we ended up bringing the puppy to the vets and he's ok. But none of my friends and family come to visit me anymore because of my cat. And I don't wanna get rid of her but I can't think of any other alternative. help!

Do cats naturally respond to this? I've never met 1 who didn't, even a kitten. If so, why? Is it built in or something?

Everytime I put on perfume and she hears the "squirt" noise, she goes nuts and runs and hides under the bed, and then when i spray febreeze she does the same thing, i also have to give her this medicine for a sore on her that i have to squirt her with on the sore. it doesn't sting or anything, it just feels wet to her skin. i litteraly have to hold her down to spray her with it, shes goes crazy and runs like a racehorse if shes around anything that "squirts" why does she do this?
