She's getting heavy, everything that is on the table she'll grab and eat then she wipes her face when she's done. If you're opening something...even peeling a banana, she'll EYE it I mean REALLY EYE it. She keeps taking us to the kitchen watching behind every step to see if we are following her to her dinner spot. We are feeding her properly with plenty of water and Three meals a day and she still insists on eating even more. Its like she's got the Cat form of Prader-Wili.

I can already tell you the problem right now. Cats dont need 3 meals aday like people do. That's why she wants to eat more. What I do is get a big bowl and fill it up with dry cat food(I have two cats) and at night feed them dinner. That way, if they do get hungry, they can eat THEIR food and not human food. That might be what's causing the weight gain. She's not getting everything that she needs for a healthy CAT diet. I hope this helps.

A relative of mine has a fat cat. She doesn't leave dry food out for her to eat on, so whenever she puts out dry food, she gobbles down all of it, as well as all of the wet food. Maybe you don't have dry food readily available for her. One of my cats eat when she's stressed (comfort food), but she isn't extremely fat because I play with her and get her to run after a lazer pointer. Make sure that you clean all of your dishes and WASH all of the remaining stuff down the garbage disposal. My cat sometimes jumps onto the counter. No food is there, so she just looks out the window. Try to get your cat to excercise more. A lazer pointer is good because you don't have to run around as much. If all else fails... to the vet!!!

Our vet told us not to feed the cats any human food except tuna. And they can only have tuna for meals when we run out of cat food and have to buy more. My cats only eat wet food twice a day. Dry food is the one that they are probably gaining weight on. Again, if there is no food readily available, she will gobble down anything you give her because she thinks that this will all she will be able to eat for now.

you should fill her dish all the way of food and 3 meals a day make sure you feed her at a normal time every day like every time she knows she will eat at 7 am and noon and 5 pm and give her smalls treats between those hours. some animals are bored so they focus on food all day. never feed them human food.

take her to a vet..also, proper training is important try using a spray bottle to get her away from the table and food...or put her in a time our for her to understabnd what she is doing! also, out her in a diet and try eukanumba cat food. it's what my cats eat, and even though they always eat stray food, tghey are really healthy. good luck!
