No definitely not .. we carry a different type of germ to what they carry (I have confirmed this with a doctor a number of years ago :-) ) and neither is infectious to eachother
In fact I think that animals can sense when we are unwell and offer more comfort ... I have 2 cats and 2 Bichon Frise who if I am unwell or upset are very clingy as if they know I am off sorts

No. Cats cannot catch human colds. Humans cannot catch cat's colds. Cats catches colds from other cats. It's called an Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) and the cat would need to take antibiotics!

Your cat cannot get the flu from you, on the otherhand dogs can depending on the flu strain.

i had the flu last year and i called the vet and asked this question cos my cat was old and i didnt want to make her sick.my vet said dont worry,its impossible .it worked the cats still here-age 18.
